Making my 4th attempt today to get gas delivered to my home. Why can't I talk to someone at the actual location of AmeriGas? Seems like the call center is elsewhere. First agent I spoke with put my payment as a credit,not knowing this until my 2nd phone call after realizing I didn't get a delivery date,I got transferred straight to key pad payment, confirmation and then a hang up. On 2nd call he kept saying that my account is on hold(when I'm up to date) I even read him my invoices.He put me on hold for 15min... I hung up. 3rd time I call back, on hold for even longer. I understand it's busy, but you have my $$$ on a credit now and I can't get a delivery? Quick to take the $$... I have kids and are stretching the hot water. I'm not cooking on stove at the moment. I just need someone to process a delivery!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with AmeriGas. It took months to get service, and when they finally acted, the agent made a serious error by registering a tank located on the other side of the property—not mine. They filled that tank and charged me for it. Despite repeated efforts to resolve the issue, they never refunded my money. This level of incompetence and poor customer service is unacceptable. AmeriGas could improve by providing better training for their agents to ensure accuracy in tank registration and billing. They should also streamline their customer service process to address issues promptly and fairly. Additionally, it’s essential that their representatives communicate clearly in English to avoid misunderstandings. A reliable system for investigating disputes and issuing refunds when mistakes are made would go a long way in rebuilding customer trust.

My requested order for a refill of a full tank was communicated easily. You replied the same day with the delivery date. And on that day I received the propane. We've used AmeriGas since 1977 and you've always been prompt, accurate, and courteous. Your drivers have checked the safety of the tank every time and noted the tank needed replacing, 2 times, for safety reasons. Of course, 2 times over a 47 year span is pretty good.

A couple months ago, I ordered 100 gallons. Amerigas delivered 213. Instead of being charged $500, I was charged over $1,000. I was told I would receive a credit. I was going to order more in the summer when the price was a lot lower. Instead I was charged the highest rate. After calling three times and being told I would receive a credit, nothing happened. I never received the credit I was promised.
Update: customer relations contacted me and gave me a refund.

I am writing this review because of the frustrating experience I've had with this company. I opened an account in July and have placed only 2 deliveries. Because of my location, I NEED to have the delivery driver call me when he gets here. I have a gate and two german shepherds. On the first delivery, I did not receive a call, but someone on the property spotted the delivery man and helped him with the dogs. I thought, "No big deal, it was just the one time." Well, a few days ago I scheduled the 2nd delivery and and I mentioned to the girl (that was helping me place the order) that I NEED a call from the driver, and she said she added the note. Well, this morning, I received a text message that my delivery was undeliverable due to a pet on the property. I was so enraged, again, that I had not received a call. Instead of waiting to get the "reschedule call," I called the 800 number. The first girl I spoke to had no clue what to do, so she asked me to call the sales department. She gave me an 866 number. I forgot to mention that they outsource their calls, so these girls don't know how to respond to certain situations. My main frustration here is that why can't they make a simple call. They definitely verified my phone number multiple times, so I don't understand why I can't get a call to tell me that the delivery man is here. I can get a text message, but not a call...
