These guys were awesome! I had another company scheduled that canceled on me same day. Blue dog moving was able to get me scheduled that same day and sent out a crew a few hours later. I cannot emphasize how hard these guys work to move my Hot Tub! It was very tricky and getting it out, and they were very professional and moving it with care. They never once complained and just kept moving the project along. I really appreciate all of their hard work.

Success!!! To say our project was challenging was an understatement. The goal was to move the old hot tub out and bring a newer hot tub from three houses down into its place. Sounds easy right well at some point in the process there was less than a half an inch of clearance. Larry and Angel showed up and at no point were they gonna give up, they arrived at 1 PM and left almost 4 hours later with total success! We could not of asked for a better crew to handle the situation. The can do attitude was highly commendable! Thank you so much for sticking with it and accomplishing what seemed like an impossible Task. The whole process from finding them getting a quote scheduling a quick visit to the hard day of labor was very professional and easy!!! I love these guys and highly recommend them for any moving projects.

I booked Blue Dog Movers through TaskRabbit. I chose them because Clifford was nice on the phone and he spoke about dogs and I love dogs. First I called a day prior to confirm because I hadn’t heard from him. Clifford couldn’t find me on his calendar. When booking I asked if they work on Sundays and he said yes at no additional charge. Great, a dog lover that doesn’t gouge people. But they sure gouged my furniture!

Since I haven’t received any contact, I contacted Clifford the day prior to confirm my move for Sunday 8/4/24. Clifford said he couldn’t find me on my calendar. But confirmed our scheduled appointment. Then he text me to ask if I was flexible. I told him yes even though I worked hard to be ready for him. I have arthritis throughout, I had rotator cuff surgery on one shoulder, need surgery on the other shoulder, swollen joints, etc. This was very difficult on me. So we booked Monday 8/5/24 Then he text back said Sunday was ok. Ok by me back to the original date. Then Sunday morning Clifford sent me a text saying a worker called out sick. Ok now on for Monday. He confirmed Monday afternoon 2-3p.
I text Clifford Monday morning to remind him we’re dropping off a dresser at my Moms just 5 minutes from our destination and if that’s still cool. He confirmed but said his crew was on their way to my house at 10:30am. I okayed their earlier arrival but they didn’t arrive until noon (?) ok at least they’re here.

The crew, James and Taylor were polite enough but did not tell me when things broke/damaged. Like the window valance in my master bedroom and everything else you’ll read about below.

Upon arrival I went over some particulars.
I have my original TV boxes and placed them near the TV’s. I caught Taylor beginning to disconnect my bedroom tv and I asked him to use the box. The living room tv was already out of my house. And the box. But the box was hidden behind other boxes in my garage so I didn’t know. He didn’t even use a blanket because I now have three long scratches on the screen!!

They broke my TV wall unit. It’s comes in two sections one approx 6 ft the other approx 3ft. With a total length glass top. I specifically told James that it’s a delicate piece. I explained where the two pieces joined together. I told James again I want to supervise on this piece.

First Taylor popped off the glass top. James “popped off” the smaller of the two sections. Even though they were screwed together. They also broke two of the three doors!! They don’t close properly one doesn’t close at all. I don’t know why they had to take it apart to begin with.

At arrival of my new home, they dented my brand new garage entry door, severely scratched up the door jam, weather stripping and broke off the alarm sensor. The guest bedroom door alarm sensor broke off. They didn’t know how to transport my master bedroom Sleep Number bed. Now the right side won’t inflate. The double bed frame collapsed, the mattress fell while making the bed. They dented my 2 brand new lamp shades and they’re bent even though I packed them meticulously, marked fragile on all sides, had towels, foam sheets wrapped around them. They put a heavy item on top of the open box, sides taped to stay up with tons of styrofoam for support.

I haven’t been able to unpack everything yet, so this is just the beginning ? I’m scared to look at my china and crystal!!

Of course Clifford won’t return my texts or calls. I called today on two different lines. For assistance. James answered said Clifford isn’t in and he’d call me, ha ha good one. I called back because I still haven’t received any receipt. No answer. I called again using a different line again. James answered said he’d have it to me in an hour. It’s been 10+ hours now.

In the move in day James gave me a link to some company to file a claim but I can’t because I don’t have a job number or receipt!!

DO NOT HIRE BLUE DOG MOVERS OR YOU'LL BE BLUE TOO!!!

Cliff and his team are awesome! Josh and Thomas were polite, careful, and professional. They showed up with a specialty dolly to move our spa, did a walk through of the move, and I left them to it. They navigated a hair pin turn under a short roof overhang and placed the spa without disrupting the surrounding landscaping, then cleaned up every scrap of wrapping. I wouldn't hesitate to use Blue Dog Moving in the future for spa moving or just general moves. I can't say enough about how happy I was with the service and the price was right as well. Did I say how sweet John and Thomas were? I seriously felt like I had two new nephews when they left. Thanks again, Blue Dog Moving!
