Closet factory did a great job on this linen pantry. Very professional installers who went above and beyond and even mounted a couple of my baseboards around the pantry. Quality product at a reasonable and affordable price. Would highly recommend this company

Designer and builders were a delight to work with, and they were able to install both of my walk in closet systems efficiently and without delay. This vendor is on the pricier side of options, but solid work and love my drawer fixtures etc. I went through costco so was able to get a cashback card as well.

I had my closets remodeled by this factory two years ago, and we added some extra items worth $1800. Unfortunately, we never received these additional items, despite numerous emails to our designer, Lucia, who acknowledged the issue but never followed up. Attempts to reach the office and the manager were unsuccessful, and a chargeback was not possible due to the time elapsed. I finally spoke to a manager named Pearl two months ago, but there has been no resolution or response since July 31, 2023. This experience has been highly unsatisfactory, considering we spent $20,000 on the remodeling. I want to emphasize that I've never written a review for any business before, but this situation compelled me to share my disappointing experience.

My experience with Closet Factory was problem free. The designer came to my home and helped me to design the shelves I needed. Our new home had little space for book shelves, so I decided to have some shelves custom made that would fit the space available.
When the installers arrived they worked quickly and efficiently. They definitely had experience and knew just how to approach the job. They left the workplace clean and neat. My shelves came out just as planned and I am very pleased with the results. When I decide to have more built-ins added to my home, I will definitely call Closet Factory.

Our experience with Closet Factory in Los Angeles started out great with our designer. She was very attentive to our needs, came to see my work space where the install would occur, and created a storage solution that would fit. Unfortunately, things went south as soon as it came time for install. The corporate office has the worst customer service I have ever experienced and their lack of communication at every step of this journey is appalling.
First, they told us they had supply chain issues, which we completely understood given the pandemic, so they had to reschedule our initial date, but they didn't let us know the evening before. The installer also called shortly after and said they had been over scheduled, which I'm sure was the truth, but either way, our date was postponed. I had already moved my work materials out of the space, and because they couldn't get us scheduled until 6 days later, I was out of work.
The day of the rescheduled install comes, and the installers did not arrive until just before 5PM when we had communicated that our building does not allow this type of work to be done past 6PM. They also mentioned they would need a space to cut the wood, which we had also communicated we didn't have as we live in a condo, and we had been told everything would be pre-cut and only assembly done in our space. Again, they had to reschedule us so that they could cut the pieces in their shop, and also to arrive at an earlier time. This time they didn't get us on schedule for over two weeks causing us to cancel our holiday plans as our space had boxes all over, and again, I was forced to miss work.
During this time, we had called the main office multiple times throughout each week trying to get in touch with a manger named Pearl in order to try to remedy the situation. No one would put us through to her, because she is "too busy" and we asked every time for them to please have her call back. We even had our initial designer trying to reach Pearl because she was equally frustrated with the experience we were having. We ended up receiving one voicemail from Pearl, but she didn't mention anything about the nightmare we were in - not an apology for all of the inconveniences or anything relating to it, just informed us of our new install date. Clearly the. management has zero regard for their clients' time and to them the money is already in the bank so who cares.
Finally, our install date comes (which I had to take more time off work for). Our installers were very nice guys and did a good job, but since we still hadn't heard from anyone at the office, we didn't sign-off on the final statement or consider this a finished job. Closet Factory made an unauthorized charge despite this.
If you value your time, value communication, transparency, and basic decency, please reconsider working with Closet Factory. They are on top of it when they want your business, but once the papers are signed, they could not care less what happens. We will never work with them again despite having other projects we were considering them for. The Container Store has been a dream to work with on our personal closet space in comparison.

The Closet Factory experience was very disappointing. The initial meeting with the designer was very good. Jim did a great job drawing out what the closet would look like and was very patient with our questions and the amount of time we took. We closed the appointment negotiating prices and finalizing the deal. He followed up perfectly setting up the install appointment for three weeks later and everything was on track. Two days before the installation we receive a call asking us for an extra $689 to come out and install the closets on Saturday. After we complained about being blindsided we were told that they will be willing to split the cost in half or give us a full refund. We felt that this was a case of a company underbidding a project through no fault of the customer and then waiting until right before installation so ask for additional money knowing most customers would pay to get their closet installed.

We felt that the service provided would not be the same now that they felt they were "short changed" on this project and requested a full refund.

Once again I am very disappointed with the way this ended and will obviously never do business with Closet Factory again.

Almost 2 Weeks Later.

The problems with Closet Factory keep on coming. I was promised by Christine that my refund would be reflected by July 30, 2013. I have since then called and left messages for a number of people including accounting, Pearl and Christine and never received a call back. I was forced to initiate a chargeback with American Express to get my money back from Closet Factory. It has now been almost 10 business days since I was told I would receive a refund and still nothing.

Closet Factory installed a library and entertainment center for us. The quality of the work was outstanding. The entire experience was great. The sales contact did a great job helping us design our units. The installers were easy to work with and did an excellent job. They made sure we were happy with everything and made changes as we requested. Overall we would use Closet Factory again and recommend them to friends.

I contacted Closet Factory to install a work station area for our company. We had an empty hallway with a few printers and copiers. Closet factory was very professional and punctual. They used a computer generated model to show a 3D rendering of some options. Details of the 3D model could be updated very quickly. This was very helpful in determining what the optimal layout was. They were very accommodating and worked within our budget. The finished product looks very nice. Beware that if they are busy, it can take a few weeks to schedule the actual installation.
