I went to the outdoor patio with my wife and our dog, the staff was very nice and kind, the service was 5 stars and the food too, we had the French toast combo n°1 and the Eggs Benedict with Canadian ham, the food was very nice I don't regret and we are definitely coming back for another good food. The French Vanilla Cappuccino is really good by the way.

I like my diners simple: good comfort food, coffee with refills, cosy, even a little shabby furniture, and efficient waiters. That place was exactly what I needed after a day of snowboarding.

I had the most pleasant meal here on a Friday night after working on my cabin all day. My pastrami burger was cooked well, and the fries were nice and crispy. This place has an all-American diner feel to it without dipping into the greasy spoon category.

Service was friendly and prompt. They let me stay and read after my meal and didn’t rush me out to turn the table. Right off the main road thru town without having to go all the way West past the traffic of the Village area.

They took the time to decorate for Valentines Day and manage to keep the mountain town affect. Next time I’ll try the birria plate.

WORST SERVICE , great food. DO NOT EAT if you have a toddler. To start off, my family and I chose to eat breakfast around the peak so we were super understanding. When we arrived there was a couple ahead of us so. The diner was packed so we waited around 30 min to be seated. When the bar and booth was available we were skipped over. Luckily another group was leaving so were given a booth. We waited 20 min to put our order in. Waited another 20 min to have our food served. Groups and couple after is received there food before us. Not once were we checked on, I had to go to the front to ask for any silverware or condiments. We distracted our toddler as much as possible, but when we finally got to eat we had to rush it. Great food, horrible service.

😊 it was a very distinct, rustic experience for sure. We did not see our favorite server, but surprisingly met her at the Grout Park later that day (she's now a full-time teacher/educator).

We loved our experience here. The "small town" feel... how Alpine's staff treats you like family and addresses you by first name. I hope ALL (new) servers have the same attitude to every single customer that comes in.

What a fun, small-town diner. We chose it for the reviews and the patio seating. The service was outstanding--attentive and so friendly. We chose machaca and eggs, which was not as flavorful as it was plentiful. The salsa it was served with added a good dimension. We also had the omelet--avocado, tomato, and bacon. It was well done and delicious. Overall, a very good, down-home breakfast for about $12-14 per person.

I stopped by expecting to get a nice latte but ended up staying for breakfast! I'm not sure lattes are even on the menu but the breakfast options are plentiful along with the service. Everything was fresh and well made. The coffee was freshly brewed and strong! Lots of mexican options as well...

This is a nice place to get great food for a good price. Portions are more than fair and the food is tasty. The decor is stuck in the 80's I think, but it's clean and the staff is great as they come around several times to make sure everything is ok. I never got past half a cup of coffee because they were always there to fill my cup up again. I loved that! My friend had the machaca plate and I had the Florentine eggs Benedict. No complaints here. Will go back again when I'm on my next Big Bear adventure
