I don't live in the area but like to vacation nearby. Each time I visit I stop in and buy at least 2 lbs of shrimp to eat while I'm there and another bag to take home with me. Unfortunately, I don't have any stores near me that sell fresh shrimp, especially as delicious as Anchored's. I use their shrimp for pasta dishes, tacos, grits, etc. I also appreciate the shelves/mini store inside stocked with products from local small businesses. I think it's a great idea for add on products when buying seafood and I always love when businesses support each other.

We stopped here after spending the day with friends in Saint Simons. The young couple operating the business were very informative of the area as well as provided the best professional customer service experience. I know more about Shrimp production now than I ever did. We will stop by every time we are up in Saint Simons. We bought 5 pounds of the some of the best shrimp we have ever had, and looking forward to the EXTRA Jumbo Shrimp in the fall months:)

I visit the area regularly (gotta love those Jekyll beaches), and every time I do, I always make sure to stop by Anchored. Whether I'm getting fresh or fresh-caught and frozen, the quality has never wavered. Additionally, their customer service is always professional and friendly, happy to answer all my questions, and occasionally offer a recipe or two! If you live in the area, or are just passing through, Anchored is a must-stop shop!

Have done business with the former establishment, Poteet Seafood, for many years with no complaints. Bought oysters under the new establishment that were already opened and bubbling. Requested money back, and received rude attitudes. Not a good business practice. Sadly to say they've lost my family's business. Shouldn't sell bad oysters.

Our family has bought fresh and frozen shrimp here for years. The shrimp are always fresh and cook up beautifully tender and flavorful. The employees are always friendly, and service is fast! It's such a treat to enjoy fresh-caught local shrimp and is great to support Georgia aquaculture. I highly recommend Anchored Shrimp Co.!

Anchored seafood has an amazing market with the best, fresh seafood around! Best seafood in the Golden Isles. Great customer service as well! Well worth the drive if you live on the island. They also supply seafood for a number of great restaurants in the area as well. Highly recommend them!
