Enjoyable brewery! Unintentionally arrived during Oktoberfest (Awktoberfest) and had a great time. Had three beers while here; a marzen, witbier, and an IPA. The marzen was enjoyable but closer to 4-stars but everything else was quality. The space itself is nice and the staff is super friendly. I scored a free ‘Awktoberfest’ glass despite doing nothing to earn it. There’s minimal paved parking, but a big overflow lot, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding a spot. Bathrooms are in a different building than the taproom. Good spot! I’ll be back sooner than later!

Great brewery! We stopped in on a Saturday while we were in the area and tried a couple of different beers while hanging out around the firepit. The spicy (habanero, guajillo, reaper) stout was fantastic, especially with extra reaper extract to boost it up a bit. Their higher-gravity stout really shone with a dip of the fire poker to caramelize the sugars a bit, too.

The staff was great and treated everyone like they were regulars and the atmosphere was very family-friendly. Lots of games and space for kids. We just wish they weren't so far from us so we could visit more often.

Each time the wife and I visit, we are greeted with exceptional customer service and the vibe and energy is always on point. It’s small and intimate allowing everyone to meet, if they choose. Not so awkward after all

Awkward Brewery is a rare place! Not only do they have a super cool atmosphere, they have great beer, slushies, seltzers, AND they have amazing owners and employees who make the place feel like you’ve been going there for 10+ years. They always have an option for someone, no matter what you drink! There’s always a reason to come back to awkward whether it’s the always changing menu with unique and exciting new beer, their usual beer that will quickly become your favorite, or the fantastic people who run the place! Fayetteville is lucky to have a place with great beer that always feel like home!

The beer here was absolutely delicious. They had live music and food vendors as well. We had our kids with us and sat by the fire. Overall shocked at how good the beer was. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms on site.

Now that they're open at 1 PM on Saturdays its far easier for us old people to get by an enjoy their beers. Wife and I stopped in for the second time at Awkward and had a wonderful time. Getting there when they opened allowed us to get samples of all their beers, as they're not YET offering flights (they're coming, just not quite), and quite honestly, they all were delicious, even the sour (and I'm not a sour person). I wound up settling on their S.M.A.S.H. Pale Ale as well as a half pour of their Breakfast at the Clermont Rum Stout. My wife the latter aged in the Bourbon barrels, which was a surprise, along with God only knows what else as they plied her with "tastes" while I was busy talking. Seriously, fun time and wonderful beers. This place is well deserving of the ratings they get on Untappd. If you're in the area, stop in and support a non-corporate, locally owned and operated, nano brewery.

Eight month update: I wanted to note since that second visit in March this has become our regular Saturday "hangout" (well, hanging out as long as us old folks can). According to Square, out of the last 36 weeks we've been here 29. I can't say enough about how good the beer is and how good the owners and "staff" are. You are not simply "customers" here, but they treat you like friends and family. If you've not been yet, you're missing out on a treat. Oh, and for some odd reason Google Maps directions will take you to the First Baptist Church's parking lot off of Johnson Street that abuts the rear of the brewery. Do NOT park there. Proceed to the 4 Way Stop at Lee St, turn left, and then proceed about 100 yards down and the entrance will be on your left just before you get to Fisher Ave (which is a right turn).

This place is awesome! I love everything about it! So many unique pieces in the decor. From the light fixtures to the tables and counter every item has a special story. The real star of the show is the beer. I had the awkwardfina with cranberry. I came specifically for this drink and it didn’t disappoint. Let’s just say it had me at 10.2%! Great place to go for a date, meet friends, family or have an event.

Nice nice-brewery in Fayetteville Georgia. Beers are good and the food truck (pass the plate) had some good food as well. Great outdoor seating and atmosphere.
