Scott Hughes represented me during a turbulent period of my life. The case I had to deal with was heart wrenching. Scott not only represented me with class and dignity in court he displayed a knowledge of the law that benefited me to obtain the best outcome possible for my case. I'm giving Scott Hughes 1 star for showing up to court. He never represented my son case right. How can you represent someone when you don't return phone calls or take the the time to consult with your client to hear his side of the case as to what happened. I guess it's because my son is black and the alleged victim is white also he was appointed by the court. My son told Scott he wanted to go to trail to let a jury decide not Scott, the court and the police department that's racist! Like they say MONEY TALKS and that's what Scott did on behalf of the court paying him. Now my son is still in a mess dealing with this situation because Scott Hughes didn't represent him and respect the fact my son wanted to have a trail. The victim wasn't a victim and Scott heard the messages that "she was leaving him on voicemail asking him why he's not answering her phone calls or responding to her voicemails". Explain this Scott, "How was she a victim leaving messages during the time she filed charges on him?"
In order to win you got pay him! This cas was in 2019 my son is still fighting for his life and freedom.

I had a long complicated divorce that was not only being dragged out by the court systems but was also having to deal with whatever crazy thing that happened during those three years. They were professional, understanding and respectful. They answer/return calls and text very quickly. On multiple occasions I was forced to check with them before doing things and they were my rock when I knew I needed to say "no" but feared what that could do to my case. When in court they were both dressed very professionally and arrived early to explain anything that might be happening. We have referred multiple people to them and will continue to do so. I love them for what they did and couldn't possibly speak any higher of them.

Scott Hughes has represented me in a very difficult family issue for several years. From Circuit Court to Family Court to Appellate Court. I highly recommend these attorneys. They explain everything so efficiently and easy to understand. They will listen to what you need and decide how your papers need to be worded and have the paper work you need in a short amount of time. Personally, I worked with Leslee Hughes but I am quite sure the others are just as competent. I felt very comfortable with the staff even though I had put off taking care of business.

Scott was my attorney for 9 months. Scott filed a couple of motions that the other attorney continued. When we actually got to court he filed the wrong motion and we didn’t get to present the motion. We went to a mediator, he showed up an hour late for the mediation and looked at his phone throughout the mediation. One time he was checking scores for his daughters softball team. The mediator he recommended was disrespectful, condescending and was not familiar with the law. I changed attorneys because when it was time for trial he said he wasn’t ready and asked for a months continuance.
