This is one of my favorite thrift stores to go to. I personally know all the staff and they are good people. Everyday you can find something different in this place as items are constantly being donated to this place. I go here just about every day and like I said there is ALWAYS a new items to look through. Cheapest place to buy used clothing and just about anything you can imagine, so if your looking for deals this is the place. In closing I'd say this place is more like a yard sale with yard sale prices, you just can't beat this store.

I've always enjoyed shopping at this thrift store, but will not in the future if the donation policy stays the same! I called ahead of time to see what the hours were for donations and was told until 5 PM. We drove from almost an hour away to donate a good bit of vintage and antique stuff I had from being a vintage collector/reseller. When we pulled up at 4:15, the employee was not friendly and acted a bit rude when I said we were not planning to unload the entire cargo trailer but had some stuff to donate. I was separating the items I was keeping from donating as I unloaded and placing the items to donate behind the trailer. Not one of the two employees made any effort to start getting the stuff, but started telling me I didn't have to look through to just unload. I explained what I was doing and was still met with rude stares. We were moving fast as well, so it's not like we were being slow. We could tell the employees did not want to serve us and one even said that his boss wanted him to have everything inside by 5 (yet the cutoff time was 5 and it was only around 4:30 at that time). My husband asked if they wanted the stuff or not and the employee pretty much just repeated they closed at 5. We won't donate where our donations are not appreciated, so we generously left what we had already unloaded but closed our cargo trailer and left. I called the store back as we were leaving to reconfirm that their donation hours were until 5 and she said yes. I explained that her employees were not on the same page and she defended them saying one had said I was going through my stuff instead of donating it all (which is my right considering I OWN it)! If donations are not accepted up until 5, then say so! We wasted our valuable time driving over to donate to an organization that could benefit from what we had to give! Instead, you've lost a customer and donations.

Needs to be cleaned more often(i.e. vacuumed and dusting) and the AC needs to be serviced as it can be sultry after a while. Prices lack consistency. Customer service is ok. The prices on the clothes are average. Sometimes you find a nice unique item.

I am truly sorry you feel that way about your donations that day but the priority is always the customers and when they pull up with a trailer load as much as they had it was alot for that time of the day..there were other customers also donating that day. The employees didn't know what to take and not to take because the customers were going thru bit by bit on what to keep and what to donate. So again I am sorry hope you visit Brother Charlies.
