I recently assisted a sweet friend who used Caring Transitions to auction her valuables and clean out her home. As a trusted friend, I was involved in almost every step of this process with my friend and learned so much about this process and enjoyed working with them. Joanna and her team were honest, kind and detailed every step of the way. Joanna was creative and went above and beyond to make this process go smoothly and be as profitable as possible for my friend, yet also meet the goal of cleaning out her house. I was so impressed with how her team created "lots' to auction her items in a way to get the highest value for her. I highly recommend Joanna and her caring transitions team.

Caring Transitions is an amazing company that helped me move my mom into memory care from her home of 27 years. I needed to move and have everything set up in her new memory home room within a 3 hour time frame and they came through! They helped set up the room, make the bed, hang pictures, etc. A little on the pricey side but worth every penny if you need a smooth transition without a loved one knowing about it. I recommend these guys a hundred times over!

The people that work with Caring Transitions here in Birmingham made all the difference for us. The challenges of moving a loved into a secure assisted living environment are so numerous and John along with Lynn and the rest of the team were intregal in making this a successful transition. The patience of Job! John and Joanna Milkay and the entire Caring Transitions team never rushed, never worried and never confused me!
From moving to estate sale to getting my house ready for market, it was all carried out smooth and orderly without a hitch. Even cleaned out my rental storage unit which is like finding new money every month! It was a very pleasant experience. I give them an A+.

From the time we visited the Assisted Living community until the time my parents moved in took about three weeks and I was out-of-town for one of those weeks. Caring Transitions was recommended to us and John came out at short notice and gave us a quote. He was also helpful in making sure his schedule for the move coordinated with the date given by the community.
The move went off without a hitch. The best part, in my opinion, was that John stayed and helped hang all the wall hangings. That is what makes a home feel welcoming. I was excited to have my parents walk in and have everything unpacked and settled already. Thank you John for all that you did. We really appreciated it!
Also, once I realized all the services that Caring Transitions offers, I feel certain that I will be calling them in the future for some additional help.

This is the second opportunity to work with John and Caring Transitions. Both experiences were splendid. I didn't have to lift a finger getting my mom's room setup. John stayed on site until every single aspect towards the room was finished and to our liking. This included hanging all pictures and fixing lamps. I would highly recommend Caring Transitions and Johns services. Thanks for your help John.
