I have been coming to the shop once I moved to Bakersfield from chicago when it was off bohannan Ave in the gas station. Every time I’m treated with great customer service and Gabe’s team gives great recommendations. The quality of the Australian wagyu and Japanese is amazing for the price they offer. They will cut meat for you as needed if you are purchasing. 10/10 as far as the eye can see! Love this place.

First time here. This place is very clean. The meat looked very fresh. They had a good variety. They also had drinks and alcohol drinks as well. I didn't see any seafood here.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place!

I recently visited “Mr Wagyu” , and it was one of the worst dining experiences/ meat buying experiences I've had in a long time. For a place that prides itself on meat dishes, the quality of the meat was shockingly bad. The steak was overcooked, tough, and completely lacked any flavor. It was clear that the meat was not fresh, and I was genuinely concerned about the quality. The Wagyu burrito was small and definitely did not use Wagyu meet and for $20 you can definitely get better elsewhere

The portions were small, and the presentation was sloppy. On top of that, the service was slow and unprofessional. , and when I raised concerns about the food, the staff didn’t seem to care at all, especially the owner who is a cocky and has really worked behavior for a business owner …

If you're looking for good meat, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Came in to the shop to pay for a $30 “Waygu” burrito. When coming in to the store I was told by the owner himself “ are you Muslim?”, I responded with Yes, he proceeded to say “ I don’t do business with Muslims because one did be wrong a while back”

I played it off and bought the burrito still…literally had to be one of the worst burritos I’ve ever had. Definitely was not “waygu” meat.. Prime meat at its best. La Villa serves up better burritos than this place… rice and beans were so bland with no flavor. They use Kraft Cheese for their burgers and really poor sub ingredients. It’s not all about the meat even though the meat was not good either !!!

Super disappointed in the interaction I had with the owner “Mr Waygu” but most importantly, disappointed in the quality of food if I could give zero stars, I would. For the price, you will find way better food elsewhere $20-$30 burrito does not justify using Kraft cheese And subpar beans and rice

Save your money and go get two burritos for the price of one which will not only taste better but be better on your wallet as well This place is all hype and only thing they can specialize in meats which they don’t do a very good job.

Tried their lunch special. Got a wagyu burger, fries and a can soda. Price was ridiculous. 22 bucks for what they give you is not a deal. The burger was ok they used Kraft cheese on the burgers. They should at least get better cheese instead of the ones on a plastic wrap.

I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and my father-in-law lives in Bakersfield, California. Well, his birthday is on January 7th, and this amazing company hand delivered a gift certificate to him from us. Talk about customer service going above and beyond to satisfy their clients. My father-in-law, upon receiving his gift, exclaimed how great their products are. Apparently, he has shopped here before and could not say enough great things about his experience here. If we ever find ourselves visiting Bakersfield, we will be sure to stop in and do some shopping for ourselves. Thank you, Gabriel, and your amazing staff.
