A nice country club in the middle of Buckhead. I had dinner there tonight.

Positives: The menu was thoughtful and well designed. The staff was friendly. There's plenty of space with multiple dining rooms and full bars. The clam chowder was great!

Opportunities: The execution was a bit lacking. My mashed potatoes came out cold, so did my mushrooms. My cake came out very cold- over refrigerated instead of at room. I ordered a filet but was not given a steak knife and they forgot my drink.

What a beautiful experience with great ambience. The service was impeccable from the time we were met by the valet until we retrieved our vehicle. The staff was top notch and met our every need. The decorations were beautiful and enhanced the Christmas spirit. It was a wonderful time.

La Playa has been a GO TO for me and while the Nutella bowl was as ordered (great) I was disappointed to see the restroom check list empty. If that is the case, don’t post it. The water container at the check out area was also empty and I had to asked to have it filled. This was at 1PM.

What a beautiful venue for a business / holiday lunch! The staff is attentive and warm and the decor -- vintage holiday -- only added to a wonderful experience. But even this pales in comparison to the delicious meal. Try the Southern Fried Chicken Salad!
