Just called local 911 to report multiple shots fired close to my home. It happened just after midnight, outside town with minimal population. Gunshots are normal here, but not this late at night. I saw police car drive past my house, do a u turn at the nearby dirt road and drive off. It took longer for me to make the report than the police checkup. Never talked to an officer; had my front door light on. Dissatisfied and definitely don't feel safe.
