Was looking for a new place to get my deer processed. Picked the meat up today. They did an amazing job and were so friendly. Will continue to use them from now on.

They roasted a half hog for a 100 person party over the weekend. The pig looked great, tasted great, and they were very friendly and punctual. I will be using these guys again next year!

We used to take our deer there every year for processing , but they refused to take deer 2 years ago after gun season . We went elsewhere . So, today we were going to drop off a deer and there is a sign on the door that they are not processing deer until gun week !!!! Poorly ran.

They were a little grumpy but it is peak deer season. Still, as a new customer I would like to be able to ask questions without getting sarcasm. Update** There will always be people that feel like they didn't get enough deer meat back. I have butchered my own and I have had deer butchered. I have personally been shorted at places but Davidsons did provide me all of my meat and I think they did a better job than I do at harvesting as much as possible for ground.

Ok so I'm petty fair when it comes to dealing with butchers, I have read all the reviews and I still took my deer there. I won't make that mistake again. I dropped off my deer and I think some meat was missing, now it wasn't a big doe, but everything fit into a brown grocery bag. They seem like a better place to take your beef. Hope this helps the next person.

We had a hog from the Fair in 2018 and had it processed at this place, only because it was close. Had another hog processed by them 4 yrs earlier, so I thought I knew what to expect. Either they are under new management, or are not honest, cannot B4 sure - All I know is that, the hog 2018 was much larger than the one 4 yrs prior, and I received WAY less meat. I called them about my bacon, per others, I should have had a lot more, asking if maybe one of their 'grocery bags' of my meat was not given to me, and after SEVERAL calls, finally got an answer of 'no'. The weight did not figure out at all- they either kept part of my meat, or gave it to someone else. The place smelled absolutely disgusting when I went to pick up my hog, and it did not smell that bad the years before. They wrap in paper, not ideal, do not trim your chops close enough, leave all the fat on the tenderloins, and really screw- up the hams- someone needs to show them what a shank half and a butt half are- NO CENTER SLICES removed! This is that absolute worst processing of an animal I have ever seen. I worked in a meat department for a major chain grocery store for 25 years, and I know a lot about meat cutting- This place SUCKS. I will NEVER use them , and I will advise others to go elsewhere- worth the drive.
