Ryan Stephens was our driver for our boat tour while a big group of our friends were visiting Big Bear for a birthday. I have been on similar tours albeit not specifically for tubing and wake surfing but to be pulled by the boat while in a parachute. I mean this wholeheartedly, Ryan was absolutely amazing as well as the rest of the staff at Designated Wakesports. Ryan made it his utmost priority to ensure the vibes were amazing, everyone was having fun, and that everyone was at the minimum able to get up on the wake surfing board. He offered suggestions and tips to those who chose to try out the water sports and offered great conversations to those on the board while others were on the water. We requested to extend our timing on the water and Ryan didn’t hesitate to offer to stay out an additional hour when he didn’t have to because we were his last tour of the day. I look forward to going back sometime soon and would definitely recommend anyone visiting Big Bear to go with this boat tour adventure and you will not be disappointed:)

We had a fantastic time! Ryan was amazing—patient and provided excellent tips for my boys on the wakeboard. If you're ever in Big Bear and looking for some water sports fun, I highly recommend Designated Wakeport. They are awesome!

Such a great time with this company , year after year. They keep the same staff each year and that says a lot about a company that takes care of their employees. The crew become family and are dedicated to making sure you have an amazing and safe time on the lake. We did tubing and they read their audience well. Speed for the dare devils and relaxing rides for the more timid. They make the experience a special time to be remembered. Thank you Coleman for another amazing summer experience.

My family and I just got off the boat and we had so much fun! Our boat driver, (I'm so sorry I didn't catch his name) and the other staff were both so nice, helpful, and made our experience so much fun. We enjoyed the wake sports and tubing. Will definitely come back next Big Bear trip!!

Designated Wakesports was an awesome company to work with! Very flexible and helpful. Ryan was our boat captain & wakesurf instructor. He was very knowledgable & helped those of our group who wanted to try wakesurfing by giving them instructions and helpful pointers on how to do better on each attempt. He also was conscientious on the boat speed when our littler ones wanted to try tubing. Everyone had a great time out on the boat!

Really nice staff took my booking on the spot and the instructor was very quick to adapt to my level of ability for the e-foil lesson. The spot of the lesson in the lane with boats going in and out, which made the experience more difficult than it could have been.

We had a great time out on the lake with Designated Wakesports! Ryan was a great captain and a fantastic instructor for our first-timers. We wakeboarded, surfed, and went hard on the tube! Only wish it was longer. Can't wait for our next visit and pull behind the boat!
