I needed to turn in paperwork the City mailed out, late as usual to retirees, which was due today. Since it was late getting to me I decided to take the paperwork directly up to them. Upon entering the building I met the front secretary. She refused to take the paperwork from me and said the person who gets the paperwork wouldn't be in until 10:00. It was a little after nine when I got there. How is it paperwork the City wants back from us can't be collected by a city employee at the building, working the from entrance? What if the person was not there today due to illness. I wouldn't be able to turn in my paperwork until they get back? Lucky for me I have friends in other departments which made some phone calls and I met that individual and was able to turn in the paperwork. City of East Point, you can do better Customer Service than that.

I have now been in line for an hour and a half to pay the City Utilities and they only have 1 employee while being open only 3 days a week. Our Civic Masters Can build a palace but can't service their fellow citizens.

The experience customer service was great I went to renew my business license and the representative that came out she was so nice so helpful so pleasant not saying that everybody that there are not pleasant but she had a glow about herself and she really was concerned about my situation I really appreciate it and I hope on my next renewal that I will get the same service

The city has a beautiful new city hall... But the council chambers have bad acoustics, & some members do not speak clearly into the mic, & some do talk, but frequently turn their heads away from the mic & the mayor speaks so fast & frequently covers her mouth so one can only understand about 40% of what she says ... There are a couple of exceptions.
