Bought the kit with the cleaner, 2ea- 5 gallon buckets of Cool Deck coating and sealer. Recieved it in 2 days. Applied 2 coats on 460sq/ft and it looks great. Easy to clean and apply. Well worth doing yourself.Dries very fast. Within an hour at 89°f. Very happy with everything and even got my 10% off as offered.

I have been looking for a solution for my pool deck for a few years when I came across Cool at my local Loews. The paint man at Loews had nothing but good things to say about it. I did my research and went on YouTube to watch Jeff’s videos for a step by step tutorial on application. Can’t express enough my appreciation for this and for being able to call and have Ryan answer any questions I had. I now have a brand new pool area. I have owned this home for 29 years and the pool deck has never looked this good. Too say I was satisfied with this product would be a massive understatement. My 800 sqft, 15yr old knockdown Sundek cool deck was in desperate need of a facelift and after much research, $$$$ quotes from local contractors, I decided to DIY with Encore Cool. I ordered 5 bundles through our local Lowes store and product promptly received and very well packaged. Watched all of the video tutorials and a couple of them more than once. For the paint I decided to go with the recommended PPG as it was less than half the cost of the other recommended brands. One week prior to starting I removed and replaced backer rod and expansion joint around coping. Day 1- cleared deck and pre-cleaned with garden hose jet spray, let completely dry out and applied triple crown and let sit overnight. Day 2- power washed deck and was amazed at how much dirt, grime and rust it removed (a lot ended up in the pool and on the porch which required pool filter cleaning and a porch bath). Day 3- taped off drains, skimmer lids (not coping as I could not get tape to stick) and then solicited help from my niece with the Cool product prep and application of 2 coats. My “oops” spots wiped right off the expansion joint/coping with a wet rag. Day 4- applied sealer and also used it to seal the travertine coping around pool and Oklahoma flagstone around hot tub. Day 5- replaced furniture and sat and admired our work for a long time…This was absolutely the most satisfying DIY project I have done to date. A month has passed and everything they claim is true: video tutorials are a must, sealer is self-cleaning, deck is slip resistant and is as cool as it was the day the original deck was done. Thank you for a cost effective product that revitalized my staycation space.

We are so happy with our Encore coatings for our pool patio. Prices are reasonable and they delivered it quickly. Their personnel were polite and helpful. Before pics where we used the cleaner, and the after pictures of painting and sealing.

What a great company and product! I had some questions and an issue with the product being delivered and with a call to the company I was able to speak to someone and then one of the owner. Was extremely pleased with the Cool Deck product from Encore Coatings. I installed my own inground pool but had the concreted contracted out. It was supposed to have a nice finished concrete edge but I was left with something awful (pictured below). After debating what to do I ended up using a concrete patch along the whole edge, then purchased the Cool Deck product and we did a nice reveal cut 18" back from the pool and used the Cool Deck product to add a nice finished look/border around the pool. I was so pleased, that I may consider using a lighter gray cool deck on the rest of the deck come this Spring! Very satisfied with the result as I think it ended up better than what it would've been and would highly recommend the Cool Deck product! It saved me from a huge issue and solved my problem in a very timely manner!

I applied Cool over the closed aggregate and the final results are amazing. Looks and feels great. We live in Ft Myers , FL. Much cooler to walk on. It did take an extra 2 jugs to finish as that aggravate soaked up a lot of product. Love the results

These guys were top notch to work with. They were always incredibly responsive and answered all of my numerous questions. The product itself is BEAUTIFUL! It has grip without tearing up your feet and being able to chose any color is amazing for matching. Their instruction videos left very little room for error and we felt more than capable of taking on the job. We will see how the surface holds up over time, but all through research, application, and first month we would give this product 10 STARS!!
