I had worst experience with them. I bought their 14x30x1 filter about 9 months ago and they fit perfectly in my furnace frame. I ordered the same filter again. The size is not the same and wouldn't fit. I contacted them for refund. First they asked to share photos to prove incorrect size. I did that. Then they said, well the "updated" sizes (which they mean by dimension not the filter size) is listed on the website. Completely ignoring the fact that they have a big "Guarantee" claim prominently saying on same page "We’re updating the “look” of our filters.
While we do, your air filter will be the correct size & performance"

I called the company and a customer rep, who was well trained in ignoring any logical and common sense notion, kept saying the sizes keep changing from time to time!! I asked why which she didn't have any reasoanble answer. It's not like the furnace frames in house shrink or expand with weather!!

She offered me a "custom" size one-time replacement offer. This custom size would be the same size they were selling their filter just a few months back. The catch, I need to give them specific size, I have to send the current filters back and pay for return shipment via FedEx and if there is any problem with the custom size filters, they won't refund or replace.

At this point, it was quite obvious that they are simply trying to trap me. So I asked just simple return and refund. She reluctantly agreed to it BUT I still have to pay for the return shipment. I quoted their return policy clearly stating that I have right to return if the product is defective or doesn't work. Very conveniently, they don't consider "incorrect size" as a defect!!!

At this point, I have no choice but to take the loss and return the filters. I would have just thrown them away if I hadn't bought a 6 pack! I trusted in their product and wrongly thought they would be an honorable company. That they are NOT!

Hopefully, this review would caution other buyers to either stay away from this company or at least not make the mistake like I did and order 6 pack trusting them.

Package was initially sent to the wrong address. Filterbuy was made aware. Package arrived damaged, as were the contents. Contacted customer service to request a refund. Would not issue a refund until a claim was approved by the shipping company. It is not my responsibility to deal with the shipping company or that our funds be held hostage until the issue between shipping company and Filterbuy is fixed. That is business between Filterbuy and shipping company only. It is also not my issue that Filterbuy did not properly package the filters to prevent damage.
Customer service was horrible. Customer service rep claimed to forward my issue to management. When I asked for contact information, she claimed there is no contact information available so that I may follow up. We have cancelled our subscription for future orders and will no longer purchase from this company. Had customer service made an attempt to make this right, we would still probably be a customer and recommend to others.

I am old school. Customer comes first always keen with me. Delighted to report I have had an OUTSTANDING experience with Filter Buy. In the span of under 24 hours my hair-pulling over filter dimensions was solved by Shannon. First impressions are everything and Shannon was superb, assuring me that a 19 7/8" would be okay vs. 19 3/4". Crossed my fingers, placed the order, filters arrived via FedEx overnight. Held my breath as I attempted to fit filter in my HVAC...and...it fit...but oh sooo barely. The saga has concluded with most of my hair intact. Additional kudos to Allison and Constance. I will definitely do business with Filter Buy again.

Been purchasing filters from this place since 2020 and only have had a couple issue with a couple filters. One was too flimsy and wouldn’t stay after the hvac kicked on and the other filter was not made correct size even though it had the correct size written on it. But other than that I Love the product and will continue to buy from them. Plus there local and I get my orders delivered fairly quickly!

I have bought several dozen air filters in various sizes over the years from Filterbuy. I have always received great prices when buying by the dozen. Shipping has always been fast and accurate. The customer service you receive as a Filterbuy customer is top notch. Will continue to do business with them and will highly recommend them to anyone looking for filters.

Deceptive produce photos. Poor customer service. Shop elsewhere.
I ordered the Merv 11 filters that I’ve purchased from Filterbuy in the past. They are shown white and have been white in the past. I received dirty looking yellowish tan filters.
They were happy to take a return at my expense.
Since they didn’t say the produce is dirty looking tan I think that’s deceptive and they should pay shipping. They will not.
I can see the return air filters in my home and with this filter they look dirtier on day one than the white look at the end of a month!

Sent 4 crushed Merv 8's when I ordered Merv 13's 4 times!!! They won't pick them up, I have to return them via UPS during a pandemic

I have been a customer for 4 years now and I am very satisfied with each order. We started ordering during covid due to wanting a better quality filter to help filter out germs. We also have an odd size that most stores do not stock. Turns out the filters also help tremendously during the 2-3 weeks out of the year that I get horrible allergies. Needless to say I've remained a customer ever since. I love that I can set auto delivery and always have my filters on hand. Thank you!!
