We need another option... The worst i've ever dealt with. Small town junk. I've lived in fort lauderdale over thirty years and never paid an electric bill over $600 For a month of service. They also have a twenty dollar reconnection fee on my bill and my electric was not shut off in the prior month. They disconnected my outside light several months ago and i'm still getting billed $10 a month. Some parts of Fitzgerald are eligible for Erwin EMC. Unfortunately I am not, I have no choice for my electric services. They definitely need to be monitored.They are Out of control.

Went to pay my electric bill today and the RUDE lady at the counter to take my payment told me my next bill was $606?!?!? For one month? I've never had a bill over $300 for one month and this place is trying to say over $606?!?! They definitely have slipped and bumped there heads bad! Of course the rude lady couldn't help me with anything other than telling me I need to waste more of my time with coming back up there to talk to some "McIntyre" or whatever. Worst electric company EVER! AND IVE HAD GA POWER BEFORE!

Yes...my lightbill was very high for a long time but when I questioned their services they figured out exactly what was wrong. My water meter was defected therefore it wasn't giving accurate readings. Afterwards my bill decreased $150 less. I will suggest that all others having this problem to ask them to first check to see if you need your meter replaced. It may be the solution. Mr. Sellars and Mr. Paul are both individuals who are quick to assist you if you have a financial setback and can't pay your bill in full. They have helped me many times beyond extensions ending. For those critics who share assumptions I kindly suggest that you reach out to either of the person's mentioned above before rating them with hastily conclusion. I rate their services 5 stars. Thank you all for lighting up our wonderful small town of Fitzgerald Ga.

They charge too much for light bills. It's a shame that the light bill costs more than rent. $600 up to $1,000 or even more just for light bills. Something obviously ain't right with that.
