They have so many native plants that are either difficult to find near me or too expensive at nurseries near me. They are priced reasonably and have every plant I was looking for. I just received my first order from Gardens of the Blue Ridge. I am so impressed that it won't be my last.
My order arrived when I scheduled the delivery. The plants look healthy and were very carefully packaged.
Not just paper to keep them from shifting in the box but the larger pots were actually sewn into place so they couldn't damage any of the smaller pots.

I've ordered from this nursery twice and had plants shipped to me in NC. The prices are reasonable and the plants arrive looking healthy. They also will ship whenever you want the plants, and not just on a strict timeline, which is nice. Most recently, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the azaleas I received from them. Delicate ephemeral bareroot plants were well-packaged and arrived ready to grow. The customer service can be a little unfriendly though. My only suggestion to them would be to work on their people skills a bit, and to respond to customers in a timely and friendly manner.

I just received three rare Rhododendrons that I have been looking for for over fifteen years. They all arrived in great condition and were very nice quality for their low price. The flock at Gardens of the Blue Ridge were very nice to work with and I would recommend them to everyone! I am extremely happy with both the service and the quality of the plants.
