For the past 24 years commissioner Holt has been a jewel and so was warden Perry. I say 24 years because that’s how long I have been locked up with my son. I do believe one day he will return home even though he has nine life sentences, and did not commit any kind of murder.

I called today, a person answered the phone right away. I could tell right away that she didn't want to do her job, bc all she said was Ga. dept of Corrections and paused. As soon as I began to tell her my reason for calling. She said, hold on Sir, and transferred me to the automated message. Ga. Dept of Corrections please get some competent employees that take their job seriously and are there to help people not to just collect paycheck that they do do not deserve.

They were pretty miserable. I called them wanting to know about some details of what they do, and possible pay for a correctional professional of seven years, a POST Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Supervisor. And the lady didn't let me finish my sentence and hung up. I called back, and when I did she transferred me and left her phone on so I could hear them criticizing me and making of fun of me while I'm on the line with a polite lady. The polite lady asked them to hang up on the other end and it terminated the call. I called another time and the lady that answered (Rude one) just says, "Hold on" before I say anything, and she doesn't transfer me or put me on hold so I hear everything she's saying and she starts making comments like "God this guy is calling again he's such a headache, I don't wanna listen to him talk at all. She left me there for about 5 minutes, and then when I coughed she hung the phone up. As a man seeking employment, I'm a little worried about how they conduct themselves in the prisons if that's their demeanor in their office.

I’m not sure I want to leave a review. Some of the officers are nice and some are not so nice. They have a job to do and they take it very seriously. Just be sure to expect to follow their instructions.
