Just went here today 11/11/24 for the first time. Dealt with Tim over the phone, who gave me a price quote on some square tuning. I couldn't find anywhere else locally on the west side of town that would return a call or beat the price that Gelndale Steel quoted me. I told Tim this was my first time working with Glendale Steel. Tim gave me directions on where to go when I arrived and explained the process to me, which was nice.

When I arrived, there was plenty of room to comfortable park my full size truck. I spoke with Tim again in the front office who helped me out immediately, explained the process again, and directed me on who to speak with to have the metal loaded into my truck.

Spoke with Freddy next. I told him I had never been to Glendale Steel before and that I just needed direction on what to do to make things easier on him. Freddy showed me where to back my truck in and said that he would load the metal into my truck for me. I did as I was instructed and Freddy carefully loaded the metal into my truck without causing any damage to my truck or the product. Freddy also told me about their discount scrap metal pile where I was welcome to find any extra pieces that I may need for future projects at 0.60 per pound.

All around, the process was easy and the employees were friendly. I will be back for future purchases.

Over the last 6 years, I have been working with Glendale Steel. I have had nothing but a positive experience each and every time. Ethan has provided nothing but incredible customer service. If I send an email or leave a message, Ethan is responding by the end of the day. Ethan has provided me with feedback and suggestions that have saved me time and money. Glendale Steel has always treated me fair.
In the last few years, I've had the pleasure of dealing with Brandon as well in the front office. Once again, incredible service and always there to help. They have even stayed open late on many Fridays to make sure we received the steel we needed. Thanks to the guys at Glendale Steel our company has been able to grow! Give them a call.

Expensive, dirty compared to other steel shops in Phoenix. Front staff was quick to help but after that background workers had a "I could care less" attitude. It took over an hour to get any help, then was told they lost the single section of pipe I needed. At least the cats were fun to watch.

Always liked this place, never any hassle and they usually have something I need in scrap. Better than my local shop for new metal, at least it was covered here. Customer service is fair, usually someone asks what I need. If not, the office isn't hard to find and when I needed information they were always helpful.
