Great meat, great service

Got a prime brisket there for New Years, it was a great piece of meat and I got great service to go with it. Knowledgeable and skilled staff who were willing to take some time to provide tips and advise. Meat was much better quality than what I've seen at Costco and supermarkets in person and from YouTube.

Picture is after I smoked it - they provide the meat it's up to you how to use it. I used the Goldee's method and where I poured tallow on top the bark was softer / less dark... but the whole thing was quite moist and tasty!

They are across the street from me, I love it, but even when I lived in Sandy Springs and Roswell I would still come out here. The Wagyu flank is a favorite, the ultra Wagyu strip is Soooo good. I've never had any other Biltong, but theirs is so good I always end up buying 2 packs of it. Their Xing Chiang sausage is the best, it's good for any meal, sweet and spicy, it's especially good in ramen with their beef stock as the broth.

I haven't had a bad experience here yet, not sure why I hadn't left a review until now, but they are the only place I buy my meat from.

My friend lives in Marietta and sends me biltong care packages from Heywood's every so often. And every time, I am watching the tracking number like a ravenous hawk until it gets here to Seattle. This is biltong done right and now I am ruined for all other biltong. I have not found a comparable butcher out here in the PNW.

You have made me set my expectations too high Heywood's! Amazing food.

What a great experience today. The staff was only upstaged by the products they sell. Meat, meat, and more glorious meat!!! They were so helpful giving us advice, letting us sample, and then selling us some amazing food. You gotta get here!!!!

Came in on a whim and the guys were super friendly. Ended up leaving with some wagyu tips and steak, very delicious! They even helped us pack it in ice to ensure it made it the journey home. Will go back

This place is great. A real butcher that knows what every cut is best for, plus where each animal came from and how it was raised. Local farms and local connections so a much smaller carbon footprint plus it tastes so much better than anything you'd get at a regular grocery. House made sausages, ground meets, and smoked meat and fishes. This place is great. Want to impress with your next charcuterie plate, go here.

Heywood 's is one of the best kept secrets in the Marietta / East Cobb area. The meat, fish and sausage is of a much higher quality than what's available at even higher end grocery stores. I am extremely impressed with your professional staff who provide high standards of service. And your store is a wonderful showcase and working butcher shop at the same time.
The staff removed the pin bones from the fresh Georgia trout I bought. And provided recommendations on which of your excellent sausages to serve. Thanks Heywood's, I'll be back!
