I was at Holy Cross 1 month ago, I had a medical emergency, I want to thank the staff and doctors that assisted and took care of me on 3/4/25, yes it's a smaller hospital but I believe that the staff is what make it a grand hospital, my experience was very positive and the care I received was top of the line, yes it started off slow but one of the nurses that was caring for me realized that it was a more emergent situation and got hands on I wish I could remember his name but I was really out of it all I remember he was a male nurse..I want to thank everyone on that shift I arrived at 11 am or so and they did everything they could for me, the doctors I can't thank enough because even though I could barely stay awake but I did hear 1 dr in particular and again I can't remember his name, calling to get a status on the blood he had ordered for me but I guess he realized that I needed to be transferred because there were still delays on receiving it. I appreciate him and all the staff that did everything they could to keep me stable..I have no words to express the gratitude I feel for them and what they did to stabilize me.. even though I got transferred to Tucson because that is where they had what I needed that doesn't lessen the efforts and care I received at Holy Cross and the amazing team of professionals that cared for me on that day. A million thanks to all the ER staff and Doctors that intervened and cared for my life. GOD BLESS YOU ALL❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

How do I rate 0 stars? This place pushes emails and texts to review my experience at their facility so here it is. A joke, and a waste of time. If it weren’t for an emergent reason that I was taken here this last time l would have been driven to Sahuarita , a 45 minute drive for appropriate care. Terrible treatment starts from the moment you walk in the door, or get wheeled in ,in my case. The worker repeatedly was yelling at me to answer her question as to what my name was while I could not answer. I could hear her, but I couldn’t answer. After I was put on a wheelchair, I was put in the hallway outside of all the rooms while I was hyperventilating and being yelled at to stop. They left me in a hallway while I was hyperventilating and continuously asked to say my name while I couldn’t. I was left there for a good while before they ever came to attend to me. I was put into a waiting room with other people and that’s where I got all my care for the rest of the night. I never got a formal room. If I weren’t hyperventilating like I was, my husband would have not taken me here. I know this place will let you die and they don’t care too care for you at all. The same doctor always comes in and blames my anxiety all the time. I don’t even live in the city and every time I’ve had to have a check at this emergency I’ve had the same doctor and his same lousy “expertise”. It took three different medication’s to get my pain under control and at time of discharge I had nothing yet. I came to my regular PCP and found out I had 3 Ovarian cysts. I cried for hours until they got my pain under control that shouldn’t have been first. I never take the time to review any place or anything, but since these emails and messages were so persistent to fill out a survey, I felt the need to even if it doesn’t matter or never Is taken into account. I wish another company or a different hospital where to open up in Nogales Arizona. We visit very frequently and have had various family members and situations where we have had to visit the ER and every single time is a negative experience and a zero star experience overall staff facility and treatment.

This is the worst hospital in the country .They can't afford to hire enough staff. Very long wait time to get service I don't recommend this place to anyone.

What a little gem in our beautiful little City. We had to spend a few days here for a family member. Every single person from the Dr's, Nurses, Techs', Housekeeping, and the beautiful ladies in the cafeteria went above and beyond in treating us. So compassionate, courteous, professional and caring. We are beyond grateful to each and everyone at Holy Cross Hospital in Nogales. Thank you.

They are uneducated in every way. One, they try to get you in an out without seeing what is wrong, just for 5 grand and my daughter almost died of sepsis because of them and two, they can not get their billing right or Date of births to bill insurance correctly then want you to submit proof when they took copies of everything.

No sense of urgency whatsoever! We struggled to get a wheelchair in the emergency and no one helped. They sent our grandmother to a hospital in Tucson to a cardiologist where the cardiologist in Tucson said they have no idea why they sent her if her heart is fine and mentioned holy cross knows nothing. It is disappointing that this is the only hospital in Nogales. Horrible, not even deserving of 1 star.
