Words cannot describe how wonderful our wedding day was. Jeff and Tere are gracious host and the venue is so so so beautiful!

A few things that I really loved! If you have kids coming to your wedding, don’t even worry about them being bored. That was my main concern since I have a younger brother and lots of kids coming. But watching my youngest brother play with all his cousins was such a treat. The kids kept themselves entertained in nature and the adults very much had a relaxing time. Nothing made me happier!

Beautiful spot to take your photos for the day of the wedding. My husband and I are in love with being in nature. The smell of the woods, fresh air and the beautiful night sky once it was dark made it all very ‘lord of the rings’ vibe for us. So in love with our photos and how they came out! So they have a lot of spots to take the perfect photos, a cute chimney that gives a rustic vibe and the golden hour is to die for!

Another thing is Jeff and Tere are the best communicators and because of that, it made everything so much easier and smooth. I’m a bit of a stress ball sometimes and them being able to always answer any questions I had and getting to me quickly was something I do greatly appreciated! The day of the wedding, literally no stress because I knew exactly what was happening and everything that was communicated to me, was done. I only felt so excited to be marrying my best friend that I kept bouncing on my feet hahah. (Literally video evidence of it when I was at the alter)

The vendors that they hand pick are top tier! Made it so much easier for us to find the vendors we needed. And Jeff is fantastic at helping you pull the vision together of where all the vendors can set up. They are really involved to help make our vision come true. It made our wedding so magical and I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism, kindness and patience for helping make this wedding go as smoothly as it did.

Overall, 5 out of 5 stars! The most beautiful venue, with the coolest name. You can’t go wrong with ‘Into the Woods’, big bear really is a magical place.

Where do I even begin? When my fiancé and I got engaged, we agreed that we didn't want to have a big extravagant wedding. We had decided on having a small backyard wedding, but still wanted to experience touring wedding venues just for fun. Into the Woods was the first venue we went to go see, and the second we arrived, I knew we needed to get married there. Our wedding was everything we could've imagined and more. Jeff and Tere are some of the most welcoming, warm, and kind people I've ever met. They were accommodating in every way possible, and really went above and beyond for us. Our DJ arrived to the wedding very late and was supposed to provide the sound for the ceremony. As any bride would, I began to panic but Jeff and Tere swung into full gear and began calling every store they could think of to find a PA system we could use for the ceremony. They ended up finding a party rental store that had an available speaker, and we were finally able to start the ceremony. The venue itself is amazing, but having Jeff and Tere there was an added plus. From the ceremony to the reception, everything around us was the most beautiful backdrop. There really wasn't a need for too much decor because the nature surrounding us already stole the show. There were moments when I would try to stop and take in all the beauty around me, and I would look around and I couldn't help but get emotional because I couldn't believe the wedding of my dreams had finally come true. My family and friends have all told me that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever been to and couldn't believe how much fun they had! I really could go on and on about how amazing everything came out, despite some minor hiccups. I know we had planned on having a small backyard wedding, but I truly cannot imagine getting married anywhere else but here. I am eternally grateful to Jeff and Tere for being the greatest hosts and for helping me have the most magical wedding. If you're planning a Big Bear wedding, please do yourself a favor and give Jeff and Tere a call, I promise you will not regret it!

Big Bear has been a special place in my fiance's family for generations. It began with his father going every summer as a child, and it being the meeting ground for family vacations. Our parents met for the first time at Maggio's, we went on our first camping trip together at Hanna Flat, and we unofficially dedicated a tree in my fiance's grandmother's honor. Getting married in Big Bear was really important to us, however we knew we wanted to be somewhere that was more intimate and surrounded by nature.
We found Into The Woods with a quick Google Search and instantly were drawn to it's beauty. We decided to visit the venue, even though it was covered in snow. This was the first venue we toured, and there was just something magical about it. Then we met Jeff.
Jeff is an amazing person, both professionally and personally. We talked with him at length about our wedding, but also about life in general. Jeff is someone who you can trust to be there for you throughout the planning process, and the wedding day itself. The day of our wedding, Jeff helped ensure vendors knew where to go, and he helped with parking and other needs that came up throughout the night, so as a bride, I didn't have to. My wedding party, specifically my maids of honor, really appreciated how much he was willing to help out with.
Into The Woods has a vendor list curated by Jeff after discovering the best vendors that serve the area. Us not knowing anything about wedding planning and not having a planner found this incredibly helpful. Our photographer ended up being someone who captured our love in style we wanted. Our dream of serving tacos at our wedding happened seamlessly as World Famous Tacos is one of the vendors. Our tables and chairs were beautiful. The bartenders were absolutely out of this world -- our guests couldn't get over how delicious they were. Getting to have our cake from a local bakery we go to each time we visit (SisterMySister) was the icing on the cake (; Overall, his vendor list made it easy for us to book who we needed to, and it was easy to trust them as we knew Jeff would only steer us in the right direction.
As a bride who had a vision for her wedding, Into The Woods made it easy to achieve that vision. It is a blank canvas, which is something I really valued. I wanted to embrace our surroundings as our backdrop, and that's exactly what we did! Our wedding was "camp" themed, and everyone truly embraced being outside together the entire evening. When the fairy lights turned on, it created such a magical area to dance with our loved ones. The bathroom onsite is perfect for guests of all ages, and the bridal cabin was large enough for my bridal party of 9, myself, and my mom to get ready.
Jeff, if you are reading this, thank you for helping our day be so magical. We adore you, and we cannot wait for anniversaries to come so we can visit again soon. We will always keep in touch.

We had our wedding at Into The Woods, and could not have had a more picturesque, beautiful day!! We were getting non stop compliments the entire day of (and week after) our wedding on how beautiful the venue was, and how fantastic the owners are!

Into The Woods was the first venue we saw, and booked it immediately - no need to see anywhere else. With the pine trees, string lights, and getting ready cabin, this place was perfect!

Jeff and Tere were SO helpful during the entire process, and are such kind people. We booked all of our vendors off their preferred vendor list, and could not have had a more perfect wedding day! Overall, our wedding day was a dream come true, thanks to Into The Woods.

Just had an October wedding here and it was absolutely magical! Jeff and Tere were so helpful in guiding me and my husband through the process and gave us a list of affordable and reliable vendors which was loads of help. We received so many compliments from our guest about the location. It really was a perfect forest wedding!

This place is absolutely amazing! My husband and I got bad news 80days before the wedding, so I scrambled and reached out to Jeff. Not only did he and his neighbor save our day, they made it magical. Jeff’s wonderful neighbor, Dave, stepped in to help us due to a scheduling conflict for Jeff (which he let us know about at the very beginning, so not saying anything negative about Jeff’s planning but rather saying how amazing and accommodating they were). Both of them were so great to work with. Jeff provided a detailed vendors list that would be super helpful for anyone who chooses this location. I can’t speak much to it as we had our vendors already due to the wedding being 80 days away, but I want to note that for those who would want that! He was in contact with us all the way up to the wedding. Jeff is incredibly sweet and wants you to have the best time for your wedding day. Dave made the dance floor for us, helped us with all of the set up, and overall made the day so magical. His dog , Cheyenne (who we actually got pictures with) was super sweet and so friendly to our guests and fur babies! She is a great guard dog as well as host! Dave also kept us in the loop all day the day before the wedding and our wedding day. The people are amazing, but I also have to speak about the venue itself. It is such a magical place to get married at. It is all outside so you truly can let the nature here be your decorations. Jeff had a cabin built for the bride and her party to get ready and it has a nice, toasty fireplace which was perfect since our wedding was at the end of October. The arch they have can get decorated however you want it and it looks absolutely stunning in pictures. Parking is super easy and everyone in our family was able to get around super easy! And finally, one of the big parts for me, dogs are welcome! I wanted our fur babies to be apart of our day and they absolutely loved it. It is such a large and accommodating space! In summary, if you want to work with kind people who want you to have the best day, be in a super beautiful and nature focused venue, and bring your fur babies, this is the place for you!!!
