Straight up took my deer. Dropped one off December 2019 and was given an estimated wait time of a few weeks. After a month I regularly called to follow up, left messages, but never received a reply despite calling 1-2 times a week for 2 months. It's been a year now and I still haven't heard back. I should have known something was up when he declined to check my deer tag. Plenty of better processors around, save yourself the headache and avoid this one.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Dropped off two deer in 2020 and never received any updates or response. They took my deer and deposit and completely disappeared. They never responded to phone calls. I’ll never use them again or recommend them. Run as far away as possible.

Dropped deer off in mid November and it's now mid June. Despite calling and texting once every two weeks or so, I've yet to get a response other than one "it will be a few more weeks" text in May. Last year I did get my deer back, but as a previous reviewer indicated my speciality meat (which is sent out for processing and very good) was short by 12 pounds. This place has gone downhill fast. When the parents were running it, they were very dependable and honest. Now that their Son (Scott) has taken over it's a joke. I was ripped off of $75 (12 lbs @ $6+ per pound) last year and this year it looks as if I'm out $200 for my deposit and the loss of all of the deer meat. Time to find another butcher or just take the time to do it myself. We loved the sausage though, but with no guarantees you'll ever get it back and if you do paying for way more than you get back, it's no longer worth it. Hope you enjoyed my sausage, venison, and money Scott!

While they are great guys and gals, I would never ever bring you game here to be processed. Upon arrival you will unload your deer into a outdoor cooler that is filled to the max and charge you $90 for general processing which and I hope you like bones and silver skin. Roast and Steak cuts are cut through whole quarters frozen. And you will have a few weeks to wonder how great it will be processed, okay more like 6 WEEKS, that's right 6 weeks and I had to call to get my deer back. DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS!

I previously left a 4/5 star review, but I must revise it due to my experience over the past year.

I dropped off two deer on 11/23/19. I picked up one early this year (Feb/Mar timeframe), and was told the second one be ready in approximately a week. Fast forward to Sept '20 and not only have I not received the second deer, but I cannot get anyone to pick up the phone or call me back despite calling more than 10 times and leaving more than 5 voicemails.

Sad to say my experience is similar to many of the bad reviews I have read (so beware). Dropped my deer off Nov. 1, 2020 and received venison back on Feb. 26, 2021 (after I decided to make a trip to Linthicum to find it finally ready). I had been calling twice a month (starting in January) without getting feedback on order status. The wrapping was good and I did get venison back (why I give 2 stars). However, Scott said I had 36 lbs of specialty sausage and when I weighted it at home, it was only 28 lbs. Much of what I paid was for the specialty sausage. Scott said he would check paperwork as he did not want to "rip anyone off". That was three weeks ago. I have let this go and feel sad for Scott as he shared that part of his challenges was getting good help. He obviously needs it.

Do not take your deer or anything else here to get processed. They have become known for taking your deposit and never actually butchering your deer. If youre lucky enough to actually be able to track them down, they might suddenly find that your deer is ready for pick-up. It is not your deer. Me and multiple people I know are still out of our deposit money and multiple deer from last season. If you are ever able to actually track scott or any of them down, you will get the runaround in hopes you will eventually just give up. Avoid this place at all costs - not sure how theyre still even open.

I dropped off a deer on Dec. 15, 2019. Paid the deposit. I never heard from them again. Calls were not returned .A letter sent via U.S. mail with my email and phone number did not receive any response. It was my son's fist deer so the experience with Linthicum was all the more disappointing. Needless to say, I would not recommend and would never even think about going there again.
