It's a very nice pavilion. There were no permanent picnic tables under the pavilion. The grounds were very nice.

Great open-air market place. During the summer there is a Farmers market on Saturday mornings. Check local listing for current events being held here.

The farmers market is getting bigger, but it's not an actual farmers market that you could bypass the grocery store and do your shopping there yet. I am hoping it will change into one though. You can't buy things like artisanal bread, grassfed beef, lamb or chicken and an array of organic vegetables. Most of the items here were bought and resold. There is a farm that sells organic eggs and vegetables but they aren't there every week. But the year before that it didn't even have that option so it is slowly growing. If you like sweets there are an array of pies, cakes and other sweet treats and hot sauces to see. It just depends on why you're going there.

The farmer’s market was nice. All vegetable vendors had the same things. The one thing that annoyed me was the vendors park in the handicap parking because it’s where their stall is located. I’m a disabled veteran in a wheelchair. So, the fact they back their trailer up over the ramp to enter the pavilion was irritating. I asked one vendor did she realize she did that and she said yes it makes it easy to load/unload. I said great makes it difficult for me in a wheelchair. Unsure if I would return.

The market is always an enjoyable place to find locally produced goods from fresh fruits and vegetables to home processed foods and crafts. It's a great place to find unique gifts for those who think they has seen everything.
Have you been disappointed with bland store bought fruits and vegetables, that have been picked too soon to develop their flavors? Try the local vine, bush or tree produce that is not picked until perfectly ripe and full of flavor, just a day or two before going to the market.
Visit the market find your favorite vendors and enjoy the fresh flavors for yourself. Some vendors aren't their every sale so visit often. I sure have missed the fresh blueberries.
