This company's website shows that they process sheep and goats, but they do not. That is called false advertising and it is very unprofessional. Please take the time to update your website accordingly so that potential customers don't get confused or disappointed like I was.

Delayed Review: We’ve used MSP in the past, but they were booked this year when our steers were ready. We went with someone else and we won’t make that mistake again. The meat quality is good, but we didn’t get the briskets the way we wanted them and while we had around 29 roasts with MSP, this year we are only getting six. The hanging weight for both years is close, but this year we see the difference when looking in the freezer. We know to book in advance and look forward to working with MSP again next year

I took my steer to get processed and was told several times that they would hang steer for 14 days. I dropped the steer of on a Monday and the next Monday midsouth called and said the meat was ready. After I got home and tried it it was so tough and gamey u could hardly eat it. I called back and they said they made a mistake on the hang time and it only hung for 5 days. The gentleman I spoke with assured me that they would work it out on my next steer. I have called for the last 4 weeks to get a kill date for two more steers and all 4 times the same lady told me she would call me back with a date. I still haven't heard from midsouth. So not only did I lose $835 for processing but I also lost the price of the steer and the $1000 or so I spent in feed for 6 months. Everybody makes mistakes but midsouth could care less about me as a customer or my return business.

Our farm uses MidSouth for all our beef processing and packing and they are great. It's a difficult job to process and pack beef and they do it with a consistently high level of excellence.

Avoid if at all possible. Rude front end staff and the processing of the cow was suspect. I have never seen a ribeye steak that small or a 2 inch wide NY strip steak.
