Nutracap [or any company] is only as good as the people it employs. In this case, my choice with Nutracap as the company to work with was a good one. From the start, I was working with TAYANA LIMA, as the BRAND DEVELOPER, for my proprietary blend of nutritional supplements.

She was with me from the very start of my process [From ingredients selection], all the way through final production and label making. Tayana made the entire process understandable and achievable within a set time frame [without me feeling rushed or pressured].

I could not be happier with my interactions and experience with Tayana, who has gone above and beyond in helping me get my products to market. In October 2024, I contacted Nutracap to get quotes for several supplements I was interested in creating. After receiving the quotes, I decided to move forward with their whey protein because it was offered at a very competitive price. I asked Kerwin, the sales representative I was working with, on two separate occasions if the quoted price was correct, and he confirmed that it was.

After paying for samples and approving the flavor, they sent me an invoice totaling $13,160, requiring an upfront payment of $7,280 to begin production. On November 11, 2024, I made the payment. The very next day, Kerwin called to inform me that there had been a mistake in the quote and that the actual cost would be much higher. I immediately requested a refund, as the revised price was not feasible for me.

Since November 12, I have been trying to get my money back. Every time I manage to speak with Kerwin or Alfredo (who I understand is the sales manager), they tell me they have escalated the issue to the owners but have not received any updates. Today, December 31, I spoke with Alfredo again, and he told me to do whatever I felt necessary because he no longer knew what to tell me.

This company is essentially trying to scam me out of $7,280.00. It’s completely unacceptable and unprofessional for a business to operate this way and for no one to take responsibility or provide clear answers. I urge others to think twice before doing business with Nutracap. Companies like this should not be allowed to continue their practices unchecked.

I had an incredible experience working with NutraCap, and I want to highlight a few outstanding individuals who made the process seamless.

My first point of contact was Mr. Jesse D. on November 27, 2024. From the very beginning, Jesse was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and experienced in the supplement manufacturing industry. He provided me with great advice and truly introduced me to this business. I was shopping around for manufacturers, and what stood out about NutraCap was their low MOQ (minimum order quantity) of 500 units—a game-changer for a new company like mine. Other manufacturers in New York had much higher MOQs, some initially saying 1,000 but later increasing it to 1,500, making NutraCap’s flexibility a major advantage.

One of the things I appreciated most about NutraCap was their efficient communication. Jesse was prompt in responding, and once I finalized my formula, the entire process—from formulation to sample production—was incredibly fast. I even received my custom pre-workout sample just in time for Christmas, making it a special moment for me and my company.

After finalizing my product, Jesse introduced me to Tayana Lima, my brand consultant, and she is the reason I am giving 5 stars. Tayana went above and beyond to ensure everything was clear, explained each step in detail, and provided exceptional support. Any minor issues that came up were quickly addressed because of her proactive approach. She truly made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable, and I cannot thank her enough for her dedication and professionalism.

I also want to commend Mr. Joseph Hernandez, NutraCap’s graphic designer. He worked tirelessly with me for over a week, exchanging emails to bring my vision to life. His patience, creativity, and attention to detail helped create an outstanding final design that exceeded my expectations.

Overall, NutraCap delivers on their promises—from their low MOQ and quick turnaround times to their top-tier customer service and expert team. If you’re looking to start a supplement brand, I highly recommend working with them!

Wish you could give them no stars, I am not big on writing reviews unless they service is exceptional or so bad I want to save everyone time. They were slow off the start to get me a quote after filling the info on their website. Our rep Safiya was very rude the first call, and missed the first appointment. We ended up looking into other brands even tho they had better pricing, we were actually interested in re connecting and ordering a sample with them strictly based off their pricing and the cost effectiveness of scaling with them. We emailed our rep and set an appointment. Wrote an email an hour before to confirm it, no response. Called the time off the appointment, 10 minutes after and 30 minutes after. No answer. Emailed multiple times since then with no response. I called the number on their site trying to connect with a new rep after explaining my concern with the last rep and they would not transfer us. Based off recent reviews, they have a big time fulfillment issue. You're better off working with other companies. Way better communications and fulfillment. Save yourself the time with these guys.
