It's a shame you can't get anyone to answer you when you call about power being out but they continue going up on power bill month after month. The power companies should all be in jail for robbery

It's not like you have a choice but besides that they have updated there services, for example you can be put on the alert list, so when you power goes down then you will be notified. It also has alerts when your bill is DUE and even get one when it's PAST DUE DATE.
The employees are very friendly no matter what your circumstance might be. They will try and help the best way they can.

Seriously this is the worst electric company. First of all they over charge something serious. Secondly, if your going to work on lines a heads up would be great. Not shutting the power off during the hottest part of the day, telling us when we call to report it will only be 10 mins, then every time we call saying shouldn’t be too long. Well I’m sure my newborn and 2 year old are agreeing with me that 2+ hours in hot weather and not able to finish making lunch/dinner that’s on the stove is ENTIRELY too long. And without the luxury of a shower before going to the night shift job you bust your butt at to pay the too high bill after sitting in a hot house. Thanks Ocmulgee for you wonderful consideration of the people you “serve”.

$155.00 for my 28ft camper in July and Im not using any air conditioner along with propane stove and hot water heating. $154 the following month same scenario and then $125 the next. Mind you that I'm not using a washer or dryer now so why am I higher than the houses around? Even a staff member admitted my camper is higher than his house! I sleep and live in 80 degrees inside most days trying to save money. They have me on a small commercial rate and swear it's cheaper than a residential rate! I need a solution.

Went in to pay bill and realized I didn't have checks in my checkbook and they don't take debit/credit cards or using your bank routing number and account number. Checks or cash only. This is inconvenient as all get out.

These folks have gone out of their way to help me and I appreciate it greatly. They are a small EMC and probably on a limited budget, but they try to provide old-fashioned customer service. Bigger is not always better, and I have been very pleased with my dealings with Ocmulgee EMC.

Terrible customer service from the administrative staff members. VERY VERY RUDE!! But hey, everyone has to have power, that said, one must take the attitudes displayed. However, I have a good mind to call corporate.
