Customer service is excellent. I was on a last-minute venture to transpose my late mothers beautiful voice from cassette tape to CD for my Pops for Christmas. Within less than a week this business had my CDs done before deadline complete with packaging. Ironically the wife grew up in the same town of Buffalo New York that I did. Which confirmed even more I was in the right spot at the right time. My father was very impressed with the sound quality and the gesture itself. I don’t think I could breathe the entire week my father’s cassettes were out of its hiding place, but they assured me they would treat my items with utmost care and respect and they absolutely did. I definitely rate this business five stars, and would highly recommend them for their integrity, customer service, empathy of hearing my story, and shared my urgency to complete “Operation Pops. “ Excellent job. You allowed me to give a very special man a very special gift. I am beyond grateful and will definitely be returning.

I recently needed to have an irreplaceable VHS converted to DVD within a very short window, and On-Site did the trick. They were great - my tape was converted on time (early, actually), and they were accommodating, professional, and friendly. I will definitely use On-Site again.

For the past thirty-five years I have taken all my video and media projects to On-Site Video. Regardless of the media technology they are always able to converge, merge, copy and create media projects onto the latest or even the oldest technology at your request. Such professional efforts are priceless in preserving your memories of family and friends especially with restorations of analog video/audio tapes and digital files of all types to the latest DVD/CD/USB digital formats. Nice people, but the place is rather expensive and slow to produce, and the quality of their vinyl-to-digital transfers are often poor quality. I kept having to take back CDs they ripped from vinyl for me because tracks which fade in would start during the fade-in with the beginning cut off, and tracks which fade out would end during the fade-out with the end cut off. The older gentleman who does the vinyl rips started getting annoyed with me because I kept bring things back for him to re-rip because it was poorly done the first time; he was starting the recording late and ending it early. I never even returned to have them fix the last one I had them do because I didn't want to face his negative attitude.

They also are very poor communicators. I told them a handful of times to check a vinyl's quality before ripping it and charging me and to call me to let me know if the vinyl had any pops or skips before doing the work. They assured me they would do so but never did, they just did the work and charged me for it without first checking the quality and letting me know as requested. There were instances where a record skipped or had pops in it that I wouldn't discover until I got the CD rip home and listened to it, which was exactly what I wanted to avoid.

Going to find another place and hope for better quality vinyl rips, faster service, and better communication.

Hands down, this place deserves a five plus stars. I was hesitate of anyone doing any work on my 8mm tapes that I had from my parents. They were wonderful, friendly, every time I called, they answered and kept me updated every single time! I felt confident and alot of trust in them to transfer these tapes to dvd. I would recommend this place to anyone whom is trying to retrieve old memories. This was a gift for my 75 year old mother which she will be blessed to be able to watch these memories again. Thank you all here for everything! Few tapes had issues which they went above and beyond to do their best to fix them. For that I am so grateful! Amazing place, highly recommend!!!!!

John & Besty are very knowledgeable, responsive and very caring in their approach. They understand what people's special memories mean and I am sure take the same professionalism to other areas of the business. We have audio cassettes and VHS. They did a great job not only on converting to digital format but were very clear at what issues the tapes had. We have several other family memories on 8mm, VHs etc and will not hesitate to trust them. The added bonus is they are LOCAL and we believe it's important to support local business, especially in this Covid weirdness. You cannot go wrong with On-site.
