Went there yesterday after I passed out at home and hit my head. Nurses were great, however the doctor didn’t lay one hand on me. No neuro exam, no labs, no ekg, no work up. He just opened the door to tell me my CT of my head was negative then walked out. My husband asked if we should use ice on my head and he said, “if you want to.”

The doctor was fine. The staff was all good except for the man working at the ER desk on Saturday night October 19, 2024. He was unable to verify our insurance, which has never happened in me and my wife's 15 years of marriage. So he put us as self pay and still charged me the $250 copay on my insurance card. He gave me a business card for the billing center and told me to have them run the insurance again Monday morning. But he closed it out when he changed it to self pay. And now, for some reason, the lady in the billing department somehow can't change it, can't even look at it she says, though someone will have to look at it to process and send us a bill eventually. And they are telling us that they are now unable to run out insurance and they have to bill us the entire amount. It makes no sense, all because he was either too lazy to try running out insurance again or too incompetent to run it right the first time. I wish I could give a thousand zero star reviews just for the annoyance and incompetence.

We went into the ER on 12/26 the staff was amazing, from the front desk all the way through. They took great care of my sister/friend who has dementia, they were very supportive of the family as well. We had to be transferred to Jasper Hospital because she had to be admitted. It was late at night so they didn’t transport until the next morning so they treated her the entire night. We were extremely grateful for there patience and kindness.

Do not believe all the reviews!!!!
We are from out of state(Indiana) and my mom needed to go to the ER around midnight for her pleurisy. This isn’t always comforting being out of state and not knowing how things will go. She has had pleurisy before and we knew that’s what it was and she just couldn’t take the pain anymore. I was worried because the female that checked us in was rude, was short with is, and very unwelcoming. She is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. There is a number to complete your check in so she didn’t even really do much!! This was also a step we were not used to back home.
Thankfully the rest of the staff was over the top amazing.

•Dan(Danny) was the triage nurse that looked my mom over and he was the nicest guy.

•Kayla took us back and was great!

•Doctor Nguyen (pronounced Win) came in and even though we knew what it was he wanted to make sure to check all the boxes to double check! He didn’t want something else to be the problem. This was comforting and we totally understood and appreciated it! Very educated and great bed side manner.

•Randy was the BEST and sweetest man EVER!!! He was the one who’s gave my mom meds and just had the best hospitality I have ever had the pressure of experiencing!

•Wendy was also great in taking my moms X-rays and CT scan

•There was another your man they did her EKG. Also very nice.

Everyone was great but they were the only folks working. So yes we had to wait but it’s just like anywhere else. The staff is short handed and they did the best job!

Brought my husband in for a yellow jacket sting on Saturday night, 7/30/22 around 6:00 pm. The entire staff was quick, efficient, caring and got us in and out in 2 hours. The 2 nurses were especially caring and helpful (and we’re quite friendly and kept our spirits lifted) in a stressful time. So glad we came here when we did. We wanted to thank the entire team that we encountered. The front desk admissions, the admissions nurse, the 2 nurses that attended to him, and the Dr at that time all were top notch. Thank you!

I have never been so harassed for a bill pmt. I got a call before I ever even received a bill. I thought it was a scammer trying to get personal information. I went on the portal and scheduled the payment on the due date. Then I got the paper bill a week later. The day after the due date, I got an email requesting payment again. I had already gotten an email with the receipt of the payment and the online account showed zero balance. Two days later I got a phone call at 8 AM requesting payment.

Changing my review from the 1 star 2 years ago. To a 5 star. I have UC and have had it for a few years. Went in this morning and even though none of the medicine they gave me worked, they took the time to talk to me and try to make me feel better. I really like the Dr too. He seemed to really care. Dr. Williams I believe. Thank you nurses and front staff and Dr Williams for taking the time to take care of me.

I had an emergency here a few years ago, and was treated with the utmost respect. The ER was quick and efficient. The ladies at the desk were very kind. And the Doctor was super sweet. Had my issue resolved by the time I left.
