The guys in there are nice but their prices are the highest I've ever seen! And I buy sell and trade firearms a lot. Some guns I noticed were priced higher than the manufacturers msrp! That's just crazy. But if people are dumb enough to pay those prices than more power to those old fellas that own the place.

Very nice and helpful. Nothing fancy, just great prices and they make you feel right at home. Even if you are a newbie to guns he won't talk down to you and make you feel stupid like some of the other gun shops in Birmingham (Hoover) !!!!

I have known this owners family all my life. Long time anchors of the community and friends to most people who come in. The owner loves his heritage and is a strong supporter of the 1st. and 2nd. Amendments. He has dedicated his life to the protection of our community. He believes in education on guns,ammo and the safety of both. If he doesn't have what you are looking for, just ask him and he will get you answer if you are willing to be patient, remember that they deal with a lot of people who have questions. I feel that his prices are compatible with others, besides your supporting the local businesses. Thanks Mike for sticking with your commitment to serve the people, day and night Brother.

My family purchased two guns here. Great people. It's so sad that they keep getting hit by burglars. Owned by a retired police officer. Honest business. They look at for you. They even have rocking chairs out front.

Nice place to buy guns for reasonable prices. I recommend this place for anyone looking to buy a firearm. I am very happy with mine.
Only bad thing about this place is that they overcharge for gun accessories. I paid 25 dollars for a holster that was a lot cheaper shopping elsewhere.
TLDR: Buy guns here but nothing else.
