Ladies in the scale house and shipping office are real nice. Easy scale and check in and out, loading took about 40 minutes. You can park overnight in their driveway. There is a CAT scale at the BP truck stop heading south out of town on US441.

AS OF 3/8/25 Barrington Rd is closed at the railroad crossing off GA32 and there is NO room to turn around. Take 335 to Thompson Rd (there's a Walmart DC) and go west, Thompson becomes Sinkhole Rd, follow it to Barrington and turn right, you can't miss the plant, FIRST DRIVEWAY is clearly marked as truck entrance.

Wasn’t a lot of communication between the broker and this facility. Was told about a late arrival and they stuck with the original appt. When I arrived when I did the worker wanted to have an attitude with about being late when I was nothing but polite. Proceeded to take all day to unload me.

It's a changing of guard. It's a new day. The ladies at the scale house are a breath of fresh air. The days of the angry guy are over. I enjoy coming here.

The actual process is pretty standard in the peanut loading industry I just can't get past how rude and not friendly the scale house man is. I'm not looking for anything other than a hello back u check in with him and he really makes you feel like you are bothering him. I spoke and he was silent he didn't speak till he needed some information from me then it was short and rude. I learned my lesson the first few times here so now I walk in and don't say a word. Its obvious he hates his job and life in general...

EDIT: The angry 😠 man is gone. I heard it may have been for some medical reasons so I won't rehash how bad of an experience the checking in process was but I am happy to say there is a new young lady in the shack. She is very pleasant and easy to get along with. One thing has changed she asks that you bring your trailer tag # with you when you check in. This process has been gotten more streamlined and makes the checking in process alot better. I hope the angry bird gets better from his illness and I'm happy that things are alot more pleasant when you get her. I know the first thing I always thought when I seen I had a pick up here was how the man in the shack was going to be.

Great place to load. Been coming here a couple years. Not sure about the reviews for the scale guy. Always friendly with me and he's very thorough so that takes time.. Bad reviews probably just a driver that's already had traffic issues..

I have been going there just about every week for the past 5 years. great people once you have been there more than once. scale guy does say hi and will talk to you just don't be an idiot in his house.

Came at 12.10pm out 17.15 from the door. Guard check was not friendly at all. Why you are hired so annoying stuff. I hope never come back here.
