New to the area and found this gem in this hole in the wall type atmosphere restaurant. Luckily we had reservations but end up arriving early and was able to get in even earlier than our reserve time. Highly recommend booking a reservation in advance. Service was great from the hostess to the server and even to the food runners from the kitchen. Fun experience using the hammers to break down the fresh crab they served. Very rare nowadays to find seafood restaurants that serve lobster bisque soup to have real and a good amount of lobster bites in them. Only feedback is maybe having some gloves and bibs for eating the crabs… besides that the fresh food, service, and experience was 👌

Awesome local dive seafood spot with a great and engaging staff, friendly service, and pretty solid seafood. The NE clam chowder was some of the best I've had outside of NE. Perfect consistency and flavor. Fish and chips were a little bland but nothing some seasoning and sauce couldn't punch up. Recommend for fresh fish delish

Awesome is the best thing to say about our 1st visit to Quarterdeck! Family coming in to the airport and we wanted to meet for dinner. Everything was perfect. Our server Cat was excellent. We sat downstairs in the gameroom because we needed 6 seats. She had to go up and down for all our food and drinks. We never wanted for anything. Now for the food- BEST steamed blue crabs we've had in a while.. they were NOT MD crabs- still serving Louisiana or Texas ones (I asked the server)- very sweet and full! Seafood Linguini Pasta had amazing sweet/thick scallops, mussels and shrimp! New York strip 12oz cooked correctly to the ordered medium temp with no steak sauce needed.Apps- steamed shrimp with JO season were big and cooked just right, Raw oysters on the 1/2 shell were VERY SMALL but flavorful and fresh. Loaded nachos were very good with real seasoned beef, queso & fresh toppings. The MD crab soup was good needed more JO -added from shaker on the table. The only just ok was the buffalo fried chicken sandwich. Would've been better with Buffalo chicken dip on it..pretty basic with just Buffalo sauce and JO poured on it.
Atmosphere- unassuming like eating in your grandmother's garage or basement inside, the patio is covered with a vinyl covering and heated. 20% tip included since we had 6 guests and all order was on one bill..just a side note to think ahead about bill splitting.

Very busy restaurant with impeccable service. Food is made to order, so order a drink and wait. We ordered snow crab legs sand raw oysters. I can honestly say that is the best I had in a while. Love it and need to come back to try the crab cakes and clam chowder.

This place is very popular. It was busy and our server was very busy. The place is small so it felt very packed with only two restrooms one for males and one for females. BUT the food was amazing. The seasoning to the crab is unbeatable. The maryland crab soup, the crab cake, and the crab dip was superb. I loved the oysters as it was fresh. Could've done another dozen. I will be coming back with my family when I have another chance.

I had the O’Bay dry rub wings and jumbo blue crabs. Everything was delicious. Pricey if you get the blue crabs but everything else is reasonably priced. All are delicious

Visited for a birthday celebration. Started off with strawberry margarita, which was a bit too strong and had no strawberry flavor whatsoever. Of course I ordered what I came for the crab legs! They did not disappoint! The crab legs were amazing! Hot, fresh, and seasoned to perfection! It’s a must that you order crab or crab legs from Quarterdeck!

Update:

Never again! I had just visited Quarterdeck on the past Sunday and decided to return because I enjoyed the crab legs that much. Well I should’ve left well enough alone. I made a reservation they only had patio reservations available. So I said why not I had sat on the patio on Sunday and they had heaters on very warm and toasty. Well not today. They sat us further away with the covers over opens. I asked to be moved into the inside. I saw it was empty tables open but I was told it was nothing available. So we sat in the freezing cold. To make matters worse the waitress was horrible! We waited 15 minutes for her to come and say she was bringing water. She came back with the water and just walked away. Never asked if we wanted anything besides water or did we want to order something. She finally came back. We decided to just order drinks and food all at once because we saw where this was going. Exactly as we thought she never came back for quite some time. Our food arrived and she asked if she could get us anything else we asked for condiments for our crab legs. At least 15 minutes passed I saw her just walking around never coming back to our table. I finally decided to get up and asked another waitress for assistance. That waitress came right over with the condiments. After that waitress helped ours magically appears asking did we anything. The worst waitress I’ve ever encountered. And to top it off they add in a automatic 20% gratuity. So cold and horrible service.
