I LOVE my Rainier Yurt. This is my second purchase. The first is weathering exceptionally well after 16 years. The new one went up with ease and looks beautiful. These are the nicest yurts on the market, with the option for cotton duck interior walls backed by insulation, a craftsman quality dome ring, clear for doors, the list goes on and on. I got the SIPs this time and definitely recommend them; the cost saved in materials and labor to put up the base supports make it well worthwhile. I could go on and on as the yurt itself, but just give a shout out to DANA HANDEL who made the choosing of the yurt a joy. She answered all my questions quickly to help me decide what to get and made the entire purchase and pick process easy. We purchased a 33 foot eagle yurt with SIPs platform from Rainier. Dana was very responsive and answered all my questions before, during and after delivery. With the initial email package of information she sent a flyer about David Kirchhof, and expert builder. I thought he lived to far away to help, but he was able to travel to our location.

The build experience went really well and David was essential to the success and the quick process we made. Especially since he pointed out the errors in the manual (like bolt orientation on the rafters) and he had lots of tricks for making things easier. (The manual is currently being updated.) I believe he saved me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in labor costs and relieved a lot of stress. He guided us on timing and preparation before the build days and we actually got the Yurt up in one day! We had done a prep day before he came and then one day of building the SIPS platform under his guidance. He said he could keep my crew of 8 people busy and he did!

The yurt itself is amazing, as expected. Everything about it is high quality and well made. I am very pleased with the purchase. We are looking forward to enjoying many years of use. It is our new dedicated space for meditation and chi gung practice.

Anyone serious about getting a yurt will be doing research. Look no further than Rainier! From the incredible support through the entire process( Thanks a bunch Dana Hendel) to the seamless delivery and installation to the superior quality, this is the brand to get. It may be a bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for. The quality of the materials is a cost saver in the long run. We live in the Northeast by the water and get all kinds of weather, high wind, freezing temps and snow, along with hot and humid. The extra insulation and awning over the doors creates a very stable weather proof environment. can't say enough about it. Extremely satisfied!

I bought a used yurt from a remote location in northern Minnesota- It was damaged and needed new parts. Dana Hendel and Rainier Yurts took care of us very well! This was not an easy process as the used yurt was from a different manufacturer. It turned out well. We will get more parts from Rainier in the future. Dana really knows her product!

Customer service and final product are both amazing. Replaced existing frame tents and worked with engineers to dial in the dimensions. When the first two tents arrived, they were too big for the frame. Called the sales rep and she contacted the folks on the floor. The resulting conversation was that the material would shrink like 501s. Sure enough, it did and the tents fit perfectly! From initial contact to final product, the relationship and process and product have been wonderful.

I have bought seven tents from Rainier Outdoor and would buy more if I had more space.

Been working with Rainier Outdoor for a handful of years now. First when we purchased a used yurt with no experience putting them up. They talked us through the process with ease. Then ten years later when we resurfaced our used yurt. Dana helped that process go smoothly.
