Sorry to say they no longer sale retail to the public. 7-9-2024

First time there today. I got a couple fresh cut Ribeyes. I grilled them on my Green Egg. They were delicious. Highly recommend these folks. Going to try their aged ribeyes, when there ready. 12-23 update: The dry aged ribeyes were melt in your mouth!! 💯💯 Highly recommend!

I Have a feeling we got back the wrong cow in our last transaction & can’t be sure if that was on purpose or accident because the cow we got was old & weighed a whole lot less than the one we sent from the farm. My husband asked them about it multiple times because we knew what the cow we sent weighed & it was way off on hanging weight. This is after wondering if we were missing meat a few times with previous transactions. We’ve been doing this for 13 years & I know what old cow meat looks like. This is one we would’ve known to burger. The prices are so high, .30 higher per lb than our new processor (probably even more than that now). We were paying double to have our meat done at Resacca after all the up charging. The meat looks so much better, is packaged just as well & it seems to all end up coming back to us at pickup with the new processor.

We got our half cow from Bow Creek Farms processed at Resaca Meat Processing Oct 2024. We submitted the form provided online with our cut requests. Were notified of the final hanging weight shortly after. And, 3 weeks later we were ready to pick up. It was a seamless pick up process, all cuts requested were included on the trays brought to our car. We loaded up our coolers and bins. In and out in less than 10 minutes.

Tonight we had our first sirloin steak. It was cut to our preferred thickness and trimmed well.

Took my sons first deer harvest to them because, a friend recommended we give them a try, much to my surprise this facility is the cleanest place I have ever used. When we received our meat easy pick up process and they are very helpful. The packaging is top notch. We ordered specialty item like the hotdogs, brats, and burgers and they look so good. Little pricey but worth it.
