Ronnie and his team did an excellent job! I was moving out of my mother-in-law's house and it was important to us that we had a smooth move. His team was very efficient and picked up everything we packed with such care and ease. There were a few last minute additions — we realized during the move that we did not want to break down and reassemble our bed — and they were able to do it in no time. I feel like the team cared a lot about our time and made sure that they were in and out in a timely manner. I never felt like they were moving too slowly. 10/10 would recommend again.

This company is top tier! It is family oriented and friendly and most importantly professional! They were there for me recovering from a major surgery. I didn’t have do anything! They took care of me and everything. They were prompt and efficient! They moved me out of my old house and into a new one fast! I will be using this company again!

Awesome team wife and I didn’t have to guide them in no way they moved furniture out the old place into the new place put furniture in the rooms as though they read our minds finish moving in 2.5 hours on a 2 hour window we didn’t mind paying extra the extra you get what you pay for with a tip, thanks for making our move smoothly ,

Booked Ronnie’s moving company for two moves: one was a local small move of items to a storage unit and the other was a long distance move of a 3 bedroom house. I appreciated the professionalism and kindness of the movers, Ronnie’s leadership of his team, and his very responsive and helpful executive assistant Mayra. I would highly recommend Ronnie and the RLMJ Movers for any move.

I called on Tuesday and asked if they could move a sofa from Dallas GA to Atlanta. It’s approximately a 50 minute drive with no traffic. The pick up in Dallas was from a gentleman selling me a couch. Because I work until 3:30 I explained I couldn’t receive the sofa in Midtown until after 4:00. They gave me a flat rate of $250. With $100 deposit thru Zelle. Which I paid. When I confirmed with the gentleman selling me the couch he informed me he couldn’t be there between 2:00 -3:00. I quickly called back to see if they could make that work. I apologized , said I understand if the couldn’t but if they could make it work I’d offered to pay an extra $100 for the trouble and as I knew it was last minute. They said they had one big job that morning and they would make it to Dallas either before 2:00 or after 3:00. Depending on when they got done with the first job. The day of the move when I hadn’t heard anything and called Myra at 3:00 to see if I could get a window of an eta to share with the gentleman selling me the couch I was told she couldn’t give me one, that I’m the one that “messed up the timing” by asking if they could come before 2:00 or after 3:00 ( although I clearly said If they couldn’t I understood ), and that because of me doing that they picked up a second job and hour away from Dallas that won’t put them in Dallas until after 6:00. That time did not work for the gentleman in Dallas as he had plans @ 6:00. Hence leaving me to eat my $100 deposit. They said if I wanted it another day I’d have to leave a second deposit. Their argument was that they never gave me an exact time. My argument is that if I payed an extra hundred dollars for them to come before two or after three. I’m assuming arrival time to pick up would be sometime between 3:00 and 5:00. For and extra $100 that seems reasonable. The fact that they made a commitment to me, gladly said they will take the extra $100 and then picked up a second job which would push me back until a pick up of “definitely after 6:00, but no actual time with and an arrival time of after 8:00 was unacceptable, unprofessional, and showed little to no regard for my time or the gentleman meeting them for pick up in Dallas. They simply picked up another job and assumed we would wait as long as they wanted us to. Thru every interaction I was spoken to as if I should be grateful that they took my little job and should be happy they were coming at all. I thought Myra was helpful the day I called even if she did talk over me loudly and made me feel as if I should be grateful but the day of when I called she was extremely defensive and continued to blame me for messing up the widow . All I was looking for was a solution. And if we could reschedule without me then loosing my deposit for all I mentioned above. She obviously had no interest or desire to help me. I honestly don’t think she heard a word I said as she was so busy talking over me and going off on how this was my fault. Extremely high strung. I have already found movers who have been respectful of me and my time and act as if they appreciate my business as do of there service. This company had no regard for any of that.
This experience was an epic fail.

Hands down 10/10. I needed a same day move, as the movers is initially hired ran extremely late with no contact to update, and by the time I called it was well after noon. Mayra helped me over the phone and she was SO professional, kind, and patient. She clearly knows what good customer service is. The 3 men hired to move were professional, to the point, and very efficient. They didn’t dilly dally at all. Even when I handed them waters the grabbed them and kept it moving, but I’m a kind and professional way. Ronnie, the boss, came ON TIME according to the estimate I was given, and they immediately got to work. They made sure they earned every cent. The kindness, compassion, and care they exhibited really made this process much better than it had started out. I wish I could do more to show my appreciation but I will definitely spread the word about your business and push business your way. Ronnie and Mayra, y’all have a GREAT team and I pray you continue to do well. Blessings and until next time 😄.

I try to keep a positive attitude about most things but this review had to be written…

This company is UPCHARGE CENTRAL. I thought I was getting a decent hourly base rate, but by the time they got done wrapping items, my charges DOUBLED. They don’t disclose how much these charges will be ahead of the move, they have to “assess” upon arrival. AKA: you don’t have any other options!

They gave me an arrival window but usually companies give you a courtesy call, which they didn’t.

My plant (which took me 3 years to grow) was damaged on the elevator ride down.
My TV (I paid extra for padded wrapping) no longer turns on.

I had a few boxes moved upstairs, which initially I didn’t intend to. I didn’t think they would increase my ENTIRE hourly rate for these few items. And their rep (Myra) was so rude about it on the phone like I committed a felony or something diabolical. I see others who reviewed also had similar experiences with her…

Ronnie (president of the company) couldn’t be bothered to exchange any pleasantries at the end of the move. Great customer service, sir!

I paid a Cadillac price for a Toyota Corolla. Find another mover!
