I bought a whole cow and price was $1800. The lady said gross weight 800lb and after processing it will be around 500 lb but we got only 300 lb with bones. Also bones were more than the solid meat. Final price was $7 per pound which is way way expensive. It’s looks like some part of meat was stolen by them. Also they were very rude and customer service is very poor. Me and my friend asked for few plastic bags but showed very very mean attitude. Those bags value not even $1. So I will never back to this farm. They cheating with people.

We ordered a 3 years old, large healthy bull which was estimated by the lady running this place to be about 800 pounds. According to her, possible waste can be 20% to 50%. We expected to get around 500 pounds of meat since the bull was in good health and not a skinny one.
After processing, it came down to only 300 pounds of beef. There was too much bone and a lot of identifiable meat pieces were missing.
The stomach was not even half full, with that, skin and blood could not have been more than 300 pounds in any possible way.
I am guessing about 200 pounds of beef went missing from our order. Also they charge extra for the stomach, leg bones and head.
Our cost per pounds came to a $6.25 which is even higher than most grocery stores.
Stay away from this place.

I came back and i am very disappointed becauae they charged me $460 for a make goat. I went with Elini to choose the goat but the gave me a female goat when i left to wait in my car. It takes less than 20mins for the meat to soften, it has no smell at all. I am African and my husband and all the men I cook for like goat because of the smell produced by the male goat. I feel duped. Very disappointed.

New to GA and found this farm/slaughter house through Google search. The 90 minute drive from Augusta was very worth it. Excellent service and fair prices. The owner, Lina was very patient with us and took her time to answer all our questions. They also burn the goat/lamb/cow with the skin on if that's what you prefer. I will definitely be making another trip there soon.

on call, she told us goats starting at 300, went there and she straight face told us 480 for one of the smallest ones!
weighed the meat at home since they do not have a working scale, and I ended up paying 500 for 28 pounds!
I am never going there again.. period!
There are far better options out there and I have had 35+ pounder for less than that..
