I was referred here by Roby from Bucks tire. I knew I had the right place from my initial call. They didn't try to tell me my transmission was gone like all the other shops I called before them. They simply said bring it in, and if it is what the computer says, it is. Here's what it will cost. The price was fair, the shop was honest and I really respect them. I brought my 06 F-150 truck here a cpl weeks ago because my reverse stopped working out of nowhere. As soon as i called i was greeted promptly and was advised on what my issues may be. They were extremely professional and did a free diagnostic on my vehicle to find out what the problem was. Turned out my reverse band was snappef which required a complete transmission rebuild. That was my worst fear but everyone there made this process as painless as possible. They were able to fix my truck in 4 days and have me back on the road good as new. I'm extremely greatful for ghe work they did as I've heard horror stories of other places rebuilding transmission improperly and creating more issues. I've driven the truck now for almost 200 miles since the rebuild and feel great about it. Their 1 yr 12K warranty gives me piece of mind as well. If i ever need any transmission work done on any of my other vehicles i will not hesitate to bring it to shift works.

Professional and trustworthy.
My daughter had been advised by a different garage her transmission needed replacing.
Shift also works quoted & secured the job. They gave the most competitive quote, all in, no hidden ambiguous charges.
However, when we dropped the car to them for the repair, they advised that her car did NOT need the transmission replacing at this time , they checked it over, advised a small job that was needed and offered to drop at a general repair shop across the road for me to get this job done.

Transmission started slipping in my ford fusion and went into safe mode. Called Shiftworks based off their high google review rating. They had me bring the car in that same morning. They diagnosed it, explained in detail what the issue was, and gave me a timeline as well as the cost of the repair. Very honest, professional, and friendly staff. I was very pleased with the service and felt comfortable leaving my car with them. Honest mechanic shops are hard to find, but you can rest assured that this shop will take care of the issue. I will be taking by other vehicles here as well as recommending them to family and friends.
