We had the best 1 night stay here. The little cabin was so nice and cozy. The price was great too. We walked to the little park nearby and enjoyed the lake. It's not a luxury 5 star resort it's a sweet low key cabin with everything you need. Enjoy the outdoors! 🥰

So Cute!
We stayed in Sleepy Forest Resorts we will go again! The cabin was exclusive, cozy, roomy, and had everything we needed for our stay. The staff was excellent as well, making sure we arrived and was all settled.
It's located so close to the lake you could walk! There is a dog park close by as well.

Highly recommend.

Room not clean, staff had to come back & clean the room. Trash was hidden in cupboards no working heater so were given a small portable heater. No extra towels, we had 2 towels for my husband, I, and my toddler. location is really close to the village, walking distance which is the only great thing about this property and the online check in. Tanya and her assistant Amanda were also very kind and the most helpful even though they said they work out of state.

My wife and I spent two nights here for a short trip to Big Bear. Check in was easy, and the hosts were very easy to communicate with. The room was comfortable and easy to find and in a great location. We would certainly stay here again.

Stayed the weekend here and what a cute little place!! The cabin was a perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend to escape the summer heat. The check-in process was smooth and easy. I even got my door code about 11 am and was able to check-in early. Amanda and Tanya were incredible and gave me some suggestions on where to eat. Already booked a future stay for this winter for some skiing!

It was our worst Hotel experience during the entire 30+ years stay in USA. There wasn't a thing which we thought we could consider to try This Hotel one more time.
It was hard to find the place, and when we finally got there, you are greeted with the dim yellow light when you enter your room. Instead of warm welcoming feeling It gives a feeling of entering a garage.
All the furnitures seem to have been brought from some nearby Flea store. TV not working.
The bathroom sink needs some serious cleaning, the water goes down so slowly I thought it was clogged.
The bed had squeaky mattress, and we had no courage to uncover the sheet and see what's actually down there.
The outdoors were equally awful. The pillow definitely hasn’t been cleaned for ages. I didn’t dare to touch it at all.
This Hotel in the Big bear lake was worser than some run-down motel in the country-side.
The lack of cleanliness, the awful smell, and the poor customer service made this a truly disappointing experience. I will not be returning, and I recommend looking elsewhere if you're considering staying in this Resort, SHOULD definitely AVOID.

Everything was fine and dandy but holy hell, if you’re managing a rental property and you know of the weather conditions and we told you we had an 8 month old baby coming with us on the trip, why didn’t you suggest us to not bring a baby to big bear while the air quality is disgusting? Being a local and running a place like this should provide each room with an AIR PURIFIER for fire seasons. None of us were able to breathe or sleep INSIDE the cabin. We had to leave at 2:00am because the baby was in distress from breathing the air that was stuck and lingering inside the cabin. We opened the windows, had the fan on, nothing got rid of the smoke infested air inside the cabin. To top it off, the bed was so goddamn uncomfortable. What was crazy to me is that the air OUTSIDE was easier to handle than the air INSIDE the cabin.
GET. AIR. PURIFIERS.
Also, in the middle of trying to fight for a partial refund because of lack of truthful information and safety.
