I can't understand how this company, Steve owner has received a high rating. He will tell you alot of thing, but he won't do any of it. If he says, he will call you back, don't expect a call or anything else.
I placed an order for a 6x12 enclosed trailer on 1/29/25 and was told by Steve it would take roughly 5 to 8 days. He allegedly received it on 3/5/25, 5 weeks later. We agreed on a price and he added two stabilizer Jacks and 4 D rings welded to the frame and I did not have a problem with that. He never mentioned that a spare tire wasn't included or a trailer jack foot plate. He said he was going to send me the foot via Amazon, 12 days later and still no foot. I wanted to support small business "working out of his house" and was willing to drive 2 hours but in the case of Southern Trailer Supply out of Guyton Ga. 31312, you will be disappointed and mad in the end. My honest opinion is not to trust this company with your hard earned money because Steve is full of fabrications and is 100% unprofessional and should not be running a business.

Steven with southern trailer company answered my call immediately. I asked for a tandem axle 14ft trailer with sides. Steven stated he could produce a custom built trailer to fit my needs. I jumped on the custom option and had a tandem axle 14ft trailer with gate and 3ft sides. This trailer was an incredible bargain for the price. I couldn't believe it. Steven took my deposit and produced this awesome trailer! Steven called me 5 business days later and said it was ready for pickup. I spent many months searching through Marketplace for a used cargo trailer, no luck. All overpriced banged up junk. Fortunately I stumbled across Southern Trailer Company. For an absolutely great price, <= to used, I was able to get a brand new custom built 14x7 TA. It was well worth the wait. Southern Trailer really took good care of me from start to finish. The trailer manufacture also gets two thumbs up. Superior construction quality and attention to detail. I am one happy camper.

I cannot get any assistance with my warranty on my trailer. I have been trying to contact this company for over two months back-and-forth with this guy named Steven. I am sick of this. I cannot get them to simply replace the lift motor on my trailer I had to also paint all of the weld underneath of the trailer that were not painted, it was all bare metal not even a year old which accumulated rust already, and replacing the rear seal on the door was like pulling teeth.. In which I had to come out of pocket for.. & in the end I had to pay for a roof vent as well that was cracked & leaking… I messaged many people over & over and over. very unprofessional, and everybody has just ignored any/all attempts of me trying to reach out for warranty support and never responded… so I have personally replaced three warranty issues. I still have the Lyft motor that I’m probably going to have to fix myself along with lights inside and outside that do not work. I cannot get any response… The response I ever get is occasionally From this said, “Steven” saying that his supervisor “Carlos” either isn’t responding or he’s waiting for him to respond. He is basically putting all the blame on his boss and badmouth him half the time anyways to make it seem like it’s not His fault (Steven). I am so tired of this. I just need assistance with this warranty. Do not purchase from this company because if you need anything replaced good luck!! Not to mention, I had to drive all the way from Charleston South Carolina To pick And inside of my sales packet, I was charged for things on the trailer that was not included. The whole situation is a Headache, even when I purchased the trailer, it was like a huge rush to pick the trailer up out of his side yard and Didn’t have time to give me the rundown on the trailer but I had just drove From Charleston to Guyton, Georgia..
