Had lunch in Buena Vista and saw the distillery. It’s quite a large facility in an old cotton house. I passed on the tour but enjoyed the sampling and listening to the history of its name. Nice place to stop.

We happened to be in Buena Vista for a day trip from Columbus and decided to stop in. Joel gave us a tour and a tasting. Very knowledgeable about the history of the building and the area and how those became integrated into the spirits. Very good local products! The cocktail in a can featuring their product is delicious. And we love their hand sanitizer made from muscadines--it smells so good and doesn't dry out the hands like more conventional products!

Wonderful tour and tasting! Very interesting explanation on the makings of the whiskey! The tour guide was great and funny! I would highly recommend stopping in for the tour and tasting! I will be returning!

We knew nothing about this distillery before we got there but I had made sure to stop by on a day trip around central Georgia. The distillery building itself be beautiful and historic with much of the original structure and restored architecture. The centerpiece of the building are the beautiful bright copper stills, as it should be.

They’re spirits are quite good for being such a young distillery and they process all their own products which is a huge plus. They’re not one of these new pop-up distilleries that source base ethanol from Indiana. This means they have far more control over the quality and specifics of their product and keeps it from that “mass produced” taste a lot of young whiskies have.

I bought a bottle of their F. Marion bourbon. It has great complexity for a young spirit and I can see why it’s won awards. I look forward to what these guys put out in the coming years.

We had a private walkthrough at the Swamp fox! It was very nice and so interesting to hear about the whiskey! We got a bottle after the tasting! Overall we had a great time and the city is charming.

Got a great tour of the distillery followed by some a few tastes in the tap room. Staff was helpful and friendly. Wish they had smaller bottles as prices were a bit much to take more than one home but everything I tried I enjoyed.

All around fun place to visit. Very unique flavors and a rustic vibe inside the distillery. All the employees are Vets and know an immense amount about the entire operation, history of Francis Marion and Buena Vista collectively. The tasting afterwards only made me want more! Thanks for the tour!
