It allows me the opportunity to get out of the house and Celebrate Recovery as we glorify and uplift our Almighty God who is Jesus Christ in whom I've been set free,made free made new and made whole! I was homeless and trying to get food I grew up at this church when I was little it was a loving environment then. But I can't remotely call it that now. The women that worked there would even give me the time of day. Acted like I didn't even exist. I thought this was a Cristian church. But apparently it's full of judgemental sinners claiming to be Christians.the lady's that work there should be ashamed of there selves so to this I denounce God and all his followers if they are anything like the assembly. Disgusting nasty individuals work there.

Unfortunately, we attended this church when a guest pastor was preaching, so I can't speak for the regular pastor. However, this church felt more like a political rally than a place of worship. Thirty minutes into the guest pastor's speech, the Bible had yet to be opened.

I come from a church that welcomes everyone—whether churched, unchurched, or dechurched—and focuses on educating others about the love of Jesus without judgment.(after all Jesus searched for and went out of his way to reach the people who needed him most.) Sadly, this guest pastor did not embody that spirit. Instead, he made inappropriate jokes about the LGBTQ community, referring to them as "queers" and misrepresenting the acronym as "LGTBQUEER"

At no point during his rant did he reference the Bible or his sermon topic, which was supposed to be on Genesis 1. If his goal was to reach out to and connect with the LGBTQ community, he failed miserably. This does not mean I condone or align with the liberal agenda; simply that I’d rather he focus on reaching those people and helping them than berating them about how wrong they are. This experience was disappointing and not in line with the inclusive and loving message I expect from a church. Calling this a sermon disrespects God. If this was your first experience with Christians today, I apologize we are not perfect. Give another church a chance.

Hopefully this message reaches who it needs too. If you can understand that the Bible condones slavery yet slavery is wrong you have all the tools you need to recognize the Bible is a text with man's opinions and IS TO BE NEGOTIATED WITH.

I want to say this: The service started by introducing the verses from Genesis 1. No verses were actually read during the time we were there. It was only noted that in this chapter it is mentioned “and God said” 10 times. The pastor stated this numerous times “and God said” and then had the congregation repeat him several times as well before proceeding to what amounted to a hate speech without mentioning what God said. (He said let there be light, not let there be no gays in Genesis FYI) The irony of this is that he included the power of speech and persuasion in advertising and how repetition aids in influence. And how much money goes into the influence of advertising…

This service felt more like a cult rally than a church service. I can appreciate the viewpoints of the church when backed by scripture, but when you are thirty minutes into a sermon and the only verse you have mentioned hasn’t even been read yet, and is not relevant to what you’re speaking on, then what are you doing? The goal of a pastor and their church should be to reach out to the dechurched and the unchurched. These people are surrounding themselves with like-minded individuals and ostracizing the very people they claim they are trying to reach. If your goal is to minister to people, yet you mock them and dehumanize them, you are only going to succeed in driving them from Christ.

Matthew 7:2
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Edit to add: This was a guest pastor from another church. We did not stay past 12. I cannot speak for the other pastors but the message appeared well received.

If this was your first experience with a church, I apologize. This is not how followers of Jesus are called to behave. Please find your church. Theyre out there I promise.

If you were looking for a church in Warner Robins, you will certainly love this one. The pastors are phenomenal, the people are genuine and super friendly along with being very helpful in any way that they can be. The services are superb and you can watch them online as well. There is always something taking place at The Assembly. What an awesome church!

We had an amazing time celebrating the 5th Annual Hope Dealer Event. I was invited by Pastor Terry and I had a table set up to share information about the company I work for. The message was heard and the instructions will definitely be followed.
