I love The Company Acting Studio!

I feel so comfortable in front of a camera because of them. While I studied theatre for years, acting for film and stage are two very different skills and their curriculum will prepare you for both.

We have so much structure around script analysis and audition technique that every time I approach a new script, I feel confident that I will understand the character enough to make strong choices.

My teachers have always been brilliant and I am so happy that I got to not only work with Chandra and Wes when I started in level one, but that I worked my way through the program into Master Class with Jamie and Lisina. All of the instructors heightened my skills through every level and I am excited to better my improv skills with Katie.

While developing skills and learning from great instructors is important, I think the best thing about the Company is the dedicated and passionate group of students you will meet at any given moment. I have gained so much knowledge of the industry from making friends at the Company.

I have been training at The Company Acting Studio since 2017 and it has been a truly amazing experience. Lisina has a world of experience and so much knowledge of the craft! I have learned so much from her as well as the other teachers at TCAS. The work we do in class is the perfect balance of what is needed to be competitive in film and TV with the challenge of material from plays. I feel like I’ve truly learned so much in the year plus I’ve been a student here and still have so much to learn still. It’s a great place to enhance your craft and feel safe while doing so. I’m so grateful to Lisina and Jamie and everyone I’ve had or taken a class with. Lisina has been absolutely fantastic in my time with her!

As an actor, I always appreciate teachers + instructors that can get me to trust my OWN personal ability/instincts rather than forcing or pushing their own. Lisina's taught me that I'm not only capable of making the right choices but that I need to trust mine more often. Lisina just has this way of helping you "drop in" to your character even if/when you feel as though you can't QUITE make the connection for yourself.
