In 2016, my team engaged DVI for the first time on a transformational training video project. DVI made a complex production process manageable, and the results far exceeded our expectations. The project I'm reviewing here was much smaller but equally impactful. The DVI team did an excellent job guiding the creative and technical processes while adhering to our timeline. As always, the video delivered was exceptional.
Lastly, it's worth highlighting that DVI's production approach involves a thorough discovery process where current versus future uses of a video are discussed. They identify possible future changes or uses before production begins, which leads to DVI having a rich footage library they can tap into later as changes need to be made. This can save a lot of time and $$ if the video evolves over time.

Our DC-based organization was looking for a video company to create three short documentary-style videos featuring three different people in three different states, and my goodness did we luck out by finding The DVI Group! From beginning to end, the DVI team was incredible to work with. The final videos exceeded our expectations, and I encourage you to look no further and work with the DVI team for your video projects! Throughout the proposal process, Kevin was professional, responsive, and incredibly patient with our team when we faced an unexpected project change and delay. He also quoted us a competitive price for the project, which was delivered on budget. The delay gave way to a massive sprint when we greenlit the project, and Erin as well as Jessie and Kacie did not miss a beat coordinating the overarching vision, as well as the travel and logistics for filming in three states and multiple locations in one week! It was really important to us that coordination was done in a way that made participation smooth for our documentary subjects, and the DVI team really helped us ensure that was the case. Then came our week of filming, and we really struck gold with the dream team that included Bud (filmmaker), Mimi (writer/interviewer), David (sound), and Kacie (production coordinator). They are each so talented, passionate, calm, flexible, adaptable (a must have with some real-time curveballs that came our way!), kind, and really fun. Lukas was amazing and quick throughout the editing process, and supremely talented at piecing together three compelling and concise stories from hours and hours of footage. The designers who created the graphics nailed it. We would work with the DVI team again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.
