I hate that I have to leave a review on a black-owned business, but it needs to be done. My husband and I just moved to Fayetteville in January. We were looking for furniture stores and ran across this store. He had a ton of options, and he was very helpful. My husband and I purchased 4 bar stools and a dining room table. We were told our items should be delivered around the end of January beginning of February. Okay cool. Our bar stools arrived before the table, so we went and picked those up. A few weeks later, he told us our table had arrived, and he would deliver it that Monday. It was a Saturday, and we didn't want to wait any longer, so we chose to pick it up ourselves. Once we made it home to set up the table, we noticed it was broken. We contacted the owner, who told us to send pictures, and he would get back to us that Monday. He reaches back out to us and proceeds to tell us the third-party company said they could send us a new table, but it wouldn't arrive until MAY (mind you, this is February). We decided to ask for a refund which the owner agreed to. This is when it goes down the heel. We reached out to the owner on several occasions asking for updates on our refund, and he would tell us another week and another week. He then finally said well, I will refund you out of my pocket since the third-party company was taking forever to refund him. As a businessman, he should've known it would be the best customer service to reimburse us and then let the company refund him. He comes and picks up the broken table and tells me he will refund us that next week. Long story short, he never refunded us. We had to dispute the transaction with our bank. We never heard back from him, and he never tried to make us whole again. He has nice furniture, and I would've shopped with him again, but after this experience, I will take my money elsewhere
