This spot just isn't it. The office staff is negligent, the buildings are infested w/roaches, no to mention your "pest control fee" is in vain, because they never send them out; and 2 months after I moved out and 1 month after my leas ended, and was paid in ful, I got hit with some BS fee. When asked to explain, they said they would get back to me and never heard from them again until they sent it to collections. Whether you are their best tenant or the worst tenant, they will treat you the same. I know the options are slim in Brunswick, but please, just don't do it.

This is the second time in less than a year that our bathroom pipes have had issues with leaking into our downstairs. They claimed that the bathroom had been remodeled and all issues fixed before we moved in. Water also leaks through the floor boards of the kitchen whenever we walk through the kitchen. We will not be staying here another year.

This is truly a beautiful property, I went there looking for a 2 bedroom apartment, the customer service was amazing, one of the best that is experienced in my hunt for my next home. The young lady that was there, named Kaylyn is such a joy to work with. She was able to answer all my questions and anticipate all my needs. She made the process such a breeze, 10/10 recommend!!!!!! Thank you

I’m in the middle of searching for a new apartment and I met this lovely lady named Kaylyn who answered all my questions and helped me with everything I needed. Everything felt so real and organic and organized.the apartment tour was good I got a full walkthrough and explanation on everything if you are looking to move into these apartments ask for Kaylyn. She helped me out 10/10 I do recommend.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my overall experience with the staff at The Retreat at 5700 so far. Jasmine, especially, was beyond helpful throughout my entire move in process and has been nothing but pleasant with each interaction. Jasmine, Kalyn and the maintenance crew have been quick to address any issue or concern I’ve had with absolute professionalism and hospitality - I look forward to the rest of my stay here!

I have the luxury of still living in this hell hole. The property manager, which is also my neighbor, is a completely unstable rude person. She is very unprofessional. I have watched this scheme for months now. Hey get low income; desperate families into the property by offering specials, and then without any organization or plan, they threaten eviction, or just tell you if you aren't happy, they will terminate the lease. I'm sure this review will get me another letter, but I don't care. Yesterday, babies and toddlers were out in the drive, inside a Walmart cart, with no parental monitoring. I didn't go say anything, bc I don't want to be screamed at my Sonny. I have lived in this earth 35 years, and I've never seen such. There is a lot of mold in all the apartments. This place is full of children without anyone watching them. My neighbors cigarettes were stolen this week, and one cig was place on each doorstep, as I watched her go pick her cigarettes up off the ground, I barely had time to feel sorry for her, before I got another call about my rent being 2 days late. Do not rent here, they aren't kind like they pretend to be. If you go talk to her managers, make sure your video recorder is on, or just go live and make them go viral, like ima do. ✌️ - Britney Tanner Hamilton.

I moved here from Colorado. When I first called about availability, I was informed there would be a 3 bedroom available by May 1st. I was informed that rent would be somewhere around $1300/month. I mentioned the listing was showing something less, and the apartment manager stated rent is increasing because the unit will be renovated. I looked at the pictures on their web page and the units looked beautiful! I was beyond excited to make this love. I agreed and then started the application process. As I continued through, I kept in contact and confirmed everything I was doing was for a 3 bedroom. I was then informed by the prior apartment manager they were undergoing management changes and that it was going to take some time to get back to me. I gave them about 3 weeks, and I had not heard anything so I reached out. Through this whole process I had to keep reminding them I was getting a 3 bedroom unit, as for some reason I kept getting marked for a two bedroom.
Before I left CO, everything was agreed upon and the lease was signed, starting May 1st. With that being a Sunday, we made arrangements for me to get the keys a day early; Saturday April 30th. I plan my trip accordingly to be in Brunswick on that date. I then get a call stating they’d be closed for the weekend. There was lack of communication within the office from the beginning. I get to my unit and it is disgustingly dirty. The apartment smelled bad, it was not clean, the window was broken, my kitchen amenities are rusted and smell like rotten food and there is a huge hole in the BOTTOM cabinet. They caked paint onto everything that all doors and drawers were stuck. The amenities listed online were a lie, the pictures online look absolutely nothing like they do in reality and the AC does not work. I expressed how unhappy I was and was told it would be correct. 3 weeks later I’ve again lost communication and I am now being ignored by management. The place is so filthy that I have not been able to stay in that unit. The office managers do not care, and are acting like I am bothering them rather than fixing their error. To make it worse they are making me wait for the unit I was promised because another tenant has “first dibs”. If this place is on your list of consideration, DO NOT DO IT!!!! I am pretty much homeless because the conditions of the unit are unbearably disgusting and is a deadly heat trap. If I could give negative stars, I would.

If I could give them 0 stars I would . Many many maintenance is … they don’t respond back in a timely manner I had bad plumbing issues and a big azz hole in my ceiling for a month until I threatened not to pay my rent they came and did a patchy job . OVERPRICED for very basic apartments. Ghetto neighbors loud and inconsiderate. Kids in Walmart carts unsupervised playing in the streets … fights between neighbors and shootings . 0/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND SO MANY ROACHES JUST DONT WASTE UR FUNDS
