Thank you to Three Notch EMC workers for coming out working on our lines. We had them come out bury the lines. We didn't want overhead lines going to the house anymore. They worked fast and worked together with Dean Electrical Services, INC. that was here changing out an old breaker box to a new breaker box. Our electricity was only out for a few hours. Code had to come check give it approval then it was back on.

Three Notch came out after lines and power were restored to take down limbs hanging over my power lines in back yard. They informed the whole tree needed to come down. The whole crew was professional, efficient, fast and even cleaned up everything. I am thankful for the knowledge and professional these men showed after having to work long hard hours after the power outages in these storms. Great work men! I appreciate all of you.

Recently moved to Blakely (12 miles from city limits, closer to Cedar Springs) from Florida. Power went out today due to a tree downing a power line during a storm. Based on other reviews I've seen I didn't expect to have the power on any time soon, however I reported the power out at 1:17 and at 2:42 power was back on. A truck showed up within about 20 minutes which is pretty good timing for being in the country. Once power was restored someone came to the house to make sure the power was on. All in all, great job.

The worst company! A Strom hit and left with no destruction to our area they turned our power off after the Storm was over literally!! Our had power been out for about 10+ hrs, but others with the same company has power except us in this area! They suck ! I would not recommend at alllllllllllll

I’m a pretty reasonable person. I understand that the power will be impacted by weather, environment, etc. on occasion. And I wholeheartedly appreciate the folks working to restore power for us every time we have to call and report an outage. However, Three Notch has the most unreliable service I’ve ever experienced. When I’ve called to express concern about the frequent outages, flickers, and surges (that repeatedly destroy our electronics and large appliances, by the way) I was told that there was nothing that could be done and it was expected because I was “at the end of the line”. While I understand the basics of electricity and how power lines operate, this seems to be a terrible business practice to share with customers. Because I’m further “down the line” I should expect inferior service? That certainly isn’t reflected in my monthly bill. I propose a reduced “end of the line” rate for your customers in my neighborhood who have to wait half a day for restoration if it rains or the winds blows a little. I wish there were any other options for service.

If you like your power to be out 10 - 20 times a year, even on clear no wind days, then this is the power company for you. If you like poor service at a top cost to the consumer then this is the power company for you.

Most useless power company ever. Have to have a backup generator just to get reliable electric. Outrageous being stuck with this backyard outfit with no choice. Turns out they are not even regulated like a real power company. PSC doesn't even bother with EMC's. Don't know how they got 2 stars. Must be rating themselves.
