Nobody selling your Dock Roller #26414 has the dimensions of the product. Kind of important to know that.

Good products, have been running their brake components for years even before Dexter acquired them. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! To date have left 5 messages and they simply do not call back. I called again and explained myself and they always give excuses that the one and only guy who needs to call me back also works some sort of showroom floor and is spread too thin in order to check his voicemails. I’m no longer offering Tie Down to my customers after installing their systems on hundreds of trailers over the years.

Need to care for the employees (warehouse) a lot more! So strict for no reason. Imagine being grown and having to ask to use the restroom. It’ll be 104 degrees in the warehouses and you can’t even take small breaks. If an employee had 1000 parts to run, at 500 let them go get some water. Or take a 2 min break. Because you only get a 30 min break and an hour break for lunch. Then you gotta work until you get off at 3-5:30pm. It’s only a few good ppl that work in the offices.

I purchased a well-built aluminum trailer with tie down engineering spare tire holder’s. While traveling down interstate 81 the spare tire/wheel and hub assembly went bouncing down interstate 81 and hit a semi truck. The semi truck did not stop and I went and recovered my assembly from the shoulder of the highway. I contacted the trailer manufacture and they sent me a new one. The replacement item also failed in the exact same way. I thought I would add a reinforcement and fix it myself, and the product failed again in another spot. Upon close inspection of the product and after several equipment failures, I’ve determined that the materials used are simply too thin and lack the ability to perform their intended function. Assuming they would be very interested to know about my experience, I contacted tiedown engineering and spoke to Denise. She said that they have sold thousands and never had this problem before and said that it is my responsibility to keep an eye out and look out for fatigue and stress cracks on the holder. She also stressed that it is not under warranty. When I told her that I’m not interested in the cost but rather the safety of people on the highway, she couldn’t wait to get off the phone and ended the call abruptly. In a subsequent phone call, she admitted that they are aware of the problem but she herself just wasn’t familiar with it. That was very surprising. After thinking about the conversation that we had just had I felt compelled to leave this review. I would not recommend using tiedown engineering products. They have no intention of improving their product but would rather deny that there is any room for improvement and continue selling an inferior and dangerous product. Very disappointed.
