The staff at Village Creative is awesome! Michael is excellent with students. He is patient, funny, and encourages student to do their best. He help my VERY shy daughter build her confidence to perform in a piano recital. She loved it!!
Mrs. Rebekah is also a great teacher. She challenges students to learn something new and takes time with the students to work at their pace.

My son has been taking private music lessons at Village Creative for the past 3 years. He’s truly enjoyed and learned something new from each teacher he’s taken lessons with. Most recently he’s been with Michael B. And is really enjoying his lessons and growing a lot in his piano skills. Michael strikes a great balance between curriculum based learning and creative expression, giving my son the opportunity to learn what he needs to know and what he wants to know! As a parent working with Michael has been great, he’s quick to respond to messages and a great communicator!

My daughters have been taking lessons at Village Creative for several years with various teachers. Currently I have one taking violin from Rebekah and one taking guitar from Sahar. We love both of these teachers so much, and the girls are learning so much, and excited to keep coming to lessons!

My daughters are both taking lessons here and they love it so much. It’s brought out their passion for learning instruments and singing! The teachers are all amazing and so nice. They also do other fun lessons like art, sewing and baking. We would definitely recommend lessons here!

My son started lessons with Mikael Heck. My 9 yo didn’t know which instrument he wanted to play. They have a class in which the student can try an instrument (guitar, Ukelele, drums, piano, etc. for a few weeks and then move on to the next. They get a chance to be independent in choosing their favorite. After a few weeks he knew he loved the dunes and really improved tremendously within ga few weeks. Mr Heck is fun, kind and patient with all his students of all learning levels.

Our son has taken an intro to music class by Michael B as well as hand drums by Mikael Heck. Both of these teachers have brought a lot of joy and fun to our son’s life through music! They have been patient and attentive to guide. We love Village Creative!

We have been with VC for 3 years now and the joy and sense of wonder and creativity music has brought to our home has been so valuable! I always wanted my children to experience the beauty of playing music and now I have 5 kids at VC weekly.

While we have seen a few different instructors, and loved then all, our 2 current instructors stand out for their love for music and teaching.

I have 3 kids who are with Miss Rebekah. They all practice daily with her as their inspiration. Gone are the days of forgetting books and instruments at home. They are confident to try new things. Miss Rebekah has more passion and experience under her belt than any instructor I have ever met and I am really excited to see what my kids will learn in the years to come with her by their side.

Michael B. is currently teaching 2 of my kids but has also taught oldest as well. He is really open to anything and brings alot of fun to each lesson. He has so much patience with my 6 yo who started drums at 5 and just started uke. He always has a great attitude and I can just tell how much he loves teaching kids.

My 9 yo would like to add that this needs to be a 10 star review.

Village Creative is my daughter’s new happy place! She loves her sewing class and all the other classes she can take! Who knew kids could learn how to DJ in little Arroyo Grande? The vibe there is buzzing, creative, and engaged, and I wish we had known about it sooner. We look forward to all the opportunities it offers. Thank you Emily!
